I would go with the 15" in order to get the dedicated video card. It's worth the extra money as it will impact the overall performance of your computer, not only when gaming. I love the form factor and portability of the 13", but even running Flash video will push its GPU.

hmm yeah but do you think the £500 extra is really worth it? I am a rather cash strapped 16 year old so £500 is A LOT more money for me. Also, the 13 will be heavier if i want to use it at school everyday. And I have heard the 320M is fine for gaming but obviously the GT 330M is better.

The 15 is hardly bigger in form but you will notice the vast screen real estate difference, you can have discreet graphics, speakers are actually listenable. And you've just got more power, I think you'll be much happier in the longrun with the 15. I've used all 3 an the 15 is just a perfect all around machine in my eyes.

Right, everyone is giving different opinions here so I can see the clear advantages of both now. If I am keeping this computer for 3 years + then I think it may be worth buying the more expensive computer, or I could pick up a mid 2009 second hand for about £900, would that be a good bet?

I think you need to decide whether or not you want a 13" or 15".

Personally, I can't stand heavy/large computers. The 13" suffices as my main workhorse.

Yeah, I am currently using a 17" display and find this nice, would it be hard to downsize to a 13? I like bigger screens so am thinking that 15 might just be the perfect compromise

Like I and other people have said, we don't know how you will react to that (just like we don't know how you'd react to the taste of durian).

Your best bet is to go to a store and experience both.

Yeah, I think I might try and get to a store this weekend and fully try out both the machines. I have briefly used a 13 and it did feel a teeny bit small and 15 felt perfect, just not 100& sure if the extra £500 is worth it. A mid 2009 MBP 15 second hand is what I might get, that will be both cheaper and nearly as good to use as a new 15.

Get refurbished mid 09 2.8ghz with the 512mb 9600 you will love it and will be able to play just about anything.
