Would you buy a MacBook Pro 14"/16" 16:9

I'd love it - I'd run two apps side-by-side (via BetterTouchTool, which enables Win7-like window snapping). That, and a 16" MBP would equal an increase in efficiency - computer heaven! Also, I'd keep my dock off to the left-hand side.

Here's an idea, bring back the iBook models of 12" and 14", but of course, under the MacBook name. The 12" will be 1280x800, and the 14" will be 1440x900. Axe the MBP 13", and bring back the form factor of the PowerBook G4, of course updated to C2D. The 15" MBP can have 1600x900, and the 17" can stay the same, at 1920x1200, I believe. The MacBook Air follows the MacBook screen changes, 12" and 14".

I quite like that idea actually! It feels more plausible since the resolution jumps are less profound.

Although I fear that a 12" display would compromise Apple's typical keyboard =/

That model would resemble the "old" model in the keyboard, as in, having the aluminum (backlit) keys, or, Apple could do something new for the keys..iPad/iPod Touch-like interface for the keyboard?

I like the current 15" and hope they stick with them. imo 16:9 is only good for watching movies. I can connect my macbook to my tv to do this. I like having more vertical pixels.
