I been debating between Macbook Pro 14 and New MacBook Air. Im in outside sales so the portability is important. I decided on the 14 with the 200 off sale via bestbuy but i missed it. Any idea how often it does the 200 drop.

I'd say we can expect one more sale on the 14" models before back to school, maybe in 6 weeks?

Costco does have the higher-spec 1TB/10-core model on sale for $250 off the standard price: https://www.costco.com/macbook-pro-...d-16-core-gpu,-1tb-ssd.product.100713171.html

Costco:
And they will sell you Applecare+ for $319. 90-day return policy.

I'm betting that Amazon will have it for 200 off again for Prime Day next month, or hopefully 250 off.

I second ( or third lol ) the Costco recommendation! I've noticed Costco putting both 14 and 16s on sale pretty frequently lately!

Plus, like stated, cheaper AC+ / 90 day return / an extra year warranty at no cost ( so even if you didn't buy AC+, you'd still have 2 years in warranty ) and 2% back if have the Costco VISA ( Citibank ) card, plus another 2% back if have their Executive Membership

It's worth getting a Costco membership just to buy the MacBook.

Assuming you are on the move a lot in sales, I would consider the 2.7lbs weight of the air vs 3.5lbs on the 14. I also think you will find the Air gives you substantially more battery life; as it is tuned for this vs. max performance.

I have the 14 but would not choose it if I were traveling a lot or running on battery a lot. Screen is great though.
