Thanks for sharing. You using xbox controller? Very high is max settings right? Any dips or lag during explosions etc or all smooth throughout? Looks good though.
it just wouldn't use it. Physics will be handled by the cpu. the phsyx will not be enabled.Let's say you run mafia 2 or arkham asylum on this machine, and you enable physx. Will the physx then be handled by the CPU because amd Gpu's arent supported by Nvidia? And how will the i7 handle physx?

I'm having loads of fun with this machine. I played Crysis 2 last night for 6 hours straight! I overclocked the GPU to 800/1000 and it's stable. Max GPU temp was 88c. Is that too high? Should i be worried?
When configuring MSI afterburner to work with unofficial cards, you have the option to disable Powerplay. Did you disable Powerplay?
anyone got any idea when we can expect an official driver update from AMD?
I played San Andreas on mine and it's gorgeous (maxed out native resolution etc) but I notice sometimes, usually at the beginning, it lags when rendering lots of large things like palm trees or redwoods etc. Or if there's a fire/steam/cloud it ever so slightly slows down briefly.
It was a lot worse on the 6490 or whatever it's called, the one on the 2.0GHz one.
The lag goes away but it's kind of disturbing that it should occur on such an old game which shouldn't be too demanding given the gig of VRAM, etc.
Any helpful tips or advice? I want to make the most of this, I don't mind trying to overclock it or anything; I'm pretty brave when it comes to tinkering.
Catalyst 11.3 came out yesterday - has anyone been brave enough to try and install them?
Strangely, the 6700 series (both desktop and mobile) does not show as a compatible GPU in the release notes:

Do these new official Catalyst Drivers really make a difference compared to the Boot Camp drivers AMD wants us to use? I've used both the official 11.2 drivers and the bootcamp drivers now, and I don't see what the difference is.
I play Starcraft II, mostly.
Guys I just installed the 11.4 Preview drivers from AMD, and they let me install it without much trouble! Im pretty surprised. I didn't have to mod an .INF file or anything! 2011 Macbook Pro is running fine so far.
i did the same too,and couldnt see either, but i did reinstall the mac drivers agin yesterday, went bak to vga first tho-etc,seems to have improved a heap from first install actually.Do these new official Catalyst Drivers really make a difference compared to the Boot Camp drivers AMD wants us to use? Enjoy!
Pretty amazing indeed. Is Hardcore the highest setting in the game?
Can someone shed light on the performance of sc2 with high-res 1680x1050 and HD6750 both in OSX and bootcamped W7.
