My new mbp 16'' has a constant slight noise while running(can only be noticed at quiet environment ) beneath the sound and keyboard. it's a high-frequency sound like electricity or sth like plastic is shocking rapidly. I can't tell if it is the problem with cpu or ssd. Has anybody met this issue before? Is it a normal issue? Could it be fixed or should I exchange for a new one?

attached is the record of this noise by my iPhone , it is very clear in the video

This sounds like coil whine. I have this with my Mac Mini, but haven't really heard it from my MBP.

Hi there, this is a known issue. Not sure if 'issue' is the right word but it's normal for the MBP 16. Here's the thread on it.
Oh thaks, so this is very common in mbp 16'' so there is great chance that it will be the same if I change it for a new one right? (actually I was thinking that maybe getting a new one then I will still find this problem.....)

Yeah I recommend reading that thread, it seems very common. Some machines seem to have it but some don't, it's hard to tell because obviously most people who post online have an issue (whereas those who are fine probably don't post). There doesn't seem to be a particular configuration that makes it better or worse. You can take advantage of Apple's return policy if you'd like.

I downloaded the mp4 from this thread you provided and I think that sound seems different from mine and the sound from my mbp is stranger. (you can see from my attached file if you are interested.) but thank you anyway!

Yeah I did download your file, changed it to an mp4 and listened. I'm no expert but I can't think of what else it'd be. If in doubt send it back to Apple, you paid a lot for the laptop so you should be happy with it.

after my experience this problem doesn't happen all the time but does happen from time to time.
