ThesMac.gr (translation) claims that they have spotted evidence of new memory modules marketed for the upcoming "MacBook Pro 2010".

The site doesn't list the source for the image, though a quick search shows a site called Adl.it listing the same part. The same parts were spotted at Kingston last week but were not labeled as "MacBook Pro 2010" modules at the time. The "MB" part numbers, however, do match up with Kingston's other MacBook RAM parts.

While new MacBook Pros are expected, there are a few inconsistencies in the listings that make them hard to take at face value. The photo above labels the processor as the outdated Core 2 Duo. Also, the bus speed of 1333MHz doesn't really match up with the expected processors to be found in the MacBook Pro. Still, the part numbers seem real and have been propagated to other resellers.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Today is a Tuesday never know.

DDR3 1333 is supported on the i7 Quad Core Mobile Processors! I am too lazy to link it but a quick google search shows that.

Perhaps the i7-720QM and i7-820QM are in order?

if it's really C2D -> epic fail

although I'm not going to upgrade soon: RELEASE'EM ALREADY!!! :apple: ;)

Hmm, if nothing else, this implies that the 13" MBP, and the 13" MB by extension, will get the default Ram bumped up to 4 Gigs.

From your neighborhood anonymous specialist...

There is an overnight planned for our stores tonight with nothing announced.

It's all TBA online.

This most likely means new product today.

Rest easy.

im ready to make a purchase

i have never been in this position.
heretofore, my computer cycle has been staggered with apple's such that my need coincides with a "mid product cycle" for apple.
this results in my being able to buy right when i need something new.
well this time is different. i need a new laptop. i have decided to go from MB to MBP. and, for the first time, i am playing the waiting game.
i can't wait, and i hope this is the tuesday for which i have been waiting.
i hope the processors are up to snuff.
cheers,
kyle

I think there's gonna be a refresh today ...

As with all popular speculation, when the apple web site goes down, we can expect something new when its back online. I'm looking forward to the new MBPs.

After finding out that the iPad is just as much a closed platform as the iPhone, the removal of adult items from the app store even though they're flagged as adult because a few women got upset (hint: filter your app store idiots!) and other questionable things from Apple, I really want to see them release new laptops that we can really drool over.

It is about time; I want to see new Macbook Pros, machines that rock the world. Apple needs to redeem themselves in my eyes; I really don't like the way they've been going these past few weeks.

Please let's see some i7 quad core goodness this month!

Note that it doesn't even say Core 2 Duo, it says Core Duo, which is an even older and more outdated processor line (doesn't even do 64-bit).

I get so frustrated with Apple. The current line-up is a rip off at that price point given the specs available for PC laptops at even lower prices. As a fan of Apple, I get almost embarrassed when they fall this far behind. Granted when they do release an updated model, it will be bad-@ass, but the lag time between updates is pretty sad. I have $3500 sitting in my Apple account waiting to purchase a new 17inch as soon as they arrive. No way would I buy a CD2. My 27inch i7 arrived last week, so if the laptops come out this week, it will be a great month for me!
