MacBook Pro 2011 (Graphics Card)

Hi there I have just purchase an old macbook Pro 17" (2011) online. It has come with no RAM (I have purchased some) my issue is - what kind of graphics card to do I need and where would I purchase one from? Thanks Team Ed

It's a laptop so there is no need for you to install a graphics card.

BTW, some 2011 MBPs have a known issue with a failing Radeon GPU.

You are aware that the 2011 models have huge issues with the logic boards, right?

I think the problem has to do with the GPU on the logic board rather than the logic board itself.
