Called Apple, nice woman told me it was still being put together but usually they ship with 24 hours of going to preparing. I pointed out that it had been nearly 48 and she pointed out it wasn't scheduled to be delivered until the 29th.

2-3 weeks July 2-9 (free expedited shipping)

I bet you mine is on the same shipping platform as yours. I called apple asking why its been over 48 hours since "preparing for shipment" and they quoted the usual 24 hours but noted that it shouldn't be due until july 2 at the earliest anyway. Absolutely unhelpful :(
 
I ordered immediately when the store opened (CTO 2.7/16/768) and my shipping estimate was 3-5 weeks. The very next day, new orders were being taken with shipping estimates of 2-3 weeks.

Now it seems that the 2-3 weekers (who ordered AFTER me) are beginning to ship but I'm still stuck with the 3-5 weeks estimate (still processing). Am I being penalized for ordering earlier???

Maybe if I call back and tell them that my 2006 Macbook is running so hot I'm afraid it will give me testicular cancer and that I'm forced to use a Dell E5410 provided to me by work they'll get the urgency and get me hooked up.

Do they have the same BTO as you? The 2.7/768ssd's are taking longer than the other builds

6/12 4:00PM PST, 2.6/16GB/512GB Shipped this morning, but received after fedex cutoff. So it's still stuck in China. When is the next flight??
 
Ordered 12 June at 8 PM CDT. 2.7/16/512. As of 2 minutes ago still processing with delivery 3 July-10 July

At least your in prepping I'm stuck at processing ordered at the same time. Think it has to do with being In canada though. My dates are july 6-11 express bumped it up by 2 days so I didn't bother.

But if it leaves at 3 weeks it apparently takes upto a week and a day to get here. I hope I don't wait that long though.

I have the same thing with the 768 ssd. Ordered on the 11th. I called on the 12th when I saw the shorter ship dates and they assured me they go ship by time ordered. Obviously bad info.

Yes. Mine did the same. Shipped yesterday but just hopped on a plane today.

Sad face indeed. At least you're still ahead of me. I'm a 6/19 order.

...I'm almost debating on forgoing the $100 gift and buying locally.
 
I just noticed the strangest thing in the world. When I click the link that Apple provides to check the shipment status it shows less details then when I look up the tracking number my self.
