Macbook Pro 2016 Reseller Order Thread

I just received my maxed-out MacBook Pro, ordered on 11th of November, 2016 from Noumax, Romania. Everything seems to be just fine, no graphic glitches, no wobbly power button or mushy spacebar, etc. Just a small scratch on the bottom... Not a big thing, but I expected it to be perfect. Well, it seems that we still live in a physical world :)

I also ordered a Magic Mouse 2. Not sure if I hate it already or I just need some more adjusting time.

ordered my MBP 2,7/512/460 on 7th of december at Gravis, a german reseller.
Expected delivery window was 2-6 weeks.
Called them yesterday and just got the Information, that the delivery window need to be expand by 4 weeks.
The service staff couldnt even Tell me, wether it was already ordered or not....
MBP is fully paid on 7th of december...

I bought with a discount of 10% via corporate benefits.

Exactly same here, 11 weeks and no info :) i was actully waiting the new mbp from march lol :D its the longest ive been without personal laptop. And also its my first mac.
 
2 months ago I almost ordered one in athens at a reseller and the owner said he hoped to receive them before the holidays. They're website still doesn't even include the same order option as the old MBP's. I'm glad I ordered mine from the Apple store in another country two weeks ago. Set to arrive end of January. Just have to go get it.
 
Finally the day has come, i will recieve my maxed out mbp on monday:)) it today arrived to the reseller and it will be shipped over from finland to estonia:))) hope you guys who are also waiting 11 weeks already will recieve yours next week!

Same here. It will arrive today. I am not at home sadly. But i can finally play with it tomorrow.

Can you check if it has any of the defects often mentioned on here, e.g. unevenly tinted display, rattle when tapped / shaken, 'sticky, high-pitched' clicks? That might give an indication to differences in the build quality of the machines delivered to resellers.

Mine got pushed back even further from Jan.26th to Feb.03rd... It's getting freaking ridiculous at this rate it'll be 10-11 weeks of waiting..

Seems like the same here...

I've just seen, that Apple can deliver Macbooks without AMD460 in 1 - 3 workdays now... What the hell is this?
 
So with my 460/2.9/1TB I havent seen any glitches while using media encoder, but i got high pitching key sounds when the computer is hot. It goes away if the computer is silent. Other than that so far very happy with it. :)

So far there is nothing to complain about. However I haven't really used it much. Just installed my software and watched movies. I will use it for heavier computation (data analysis) when I don't have to work. I guess I will have more to say about it on saturday evening.

Yay, it's in the country! Being forwarded from the resellers hub, should arrive in a couple of days.

Will not order through a reseller again.

I should've went with the Silver, but the Space Gray looks so good :(

UPDATE: I can pick up a silver MBP Late 2016 with 2.9 GHz, AMD460 and 512 GB instead of 1TB, in favour it is 400 SFr. less than the 1TB... and its silver, but hey, when you look in the screen, you won't see the back color :p

So for me, its a good option.

Yayyy, mine shipped today, it will be here on 01.27 :D 9 weeks of waiting..I'll never order through reseller again, unless its already in stock.. :D
 
Can't believe it, the MacBook (rMBP 2016, 13", grey, i7/512gb/16gb) has been shipped! (Digitec Switzerland)
Will arrive tomorrow... Hopefully it will work as expected, don't want to wait for a replacement box :)

Did you decide to pick it up, if so, how do you like it?

Got a chance to play around with a 15" model at our local Media Markt yesterday and really liked it, but I'm still waiting for my reseller to call me. It'll be a bit of a size adjustment I noticed, because I'm coming from a 2010 17" model!
