Just every laptop I've owned the fans ramp up when the processor gets hot. The Mac is actually pretty quiet in that regard. One of my laptops the fans ramp for no apparent reason and nothing even running in the background.

So pissed... I spent $5000 for the most beefed up 16" 2019 MBP and it sounds like a freaking airplane when im using chrome or any other base level app. How is that even possible? To come out with a new version thats worse then the old version?

GRRRR....I think im going to get a refund on this one ya'll

Have you tried disabling Turbo Boost? That should help reduce the fan noise.

Or, maybe you should take it back to an Apple Store and explain the problem. I had a major issue with my 16" MBP after 2 weeks and they just gave me a whole new machine... which works fantastic.

I already sent my first one back because it had a software issue and wouldnt migrate data, they sent me a new one. Now im working on this isssue.. Its just not the kind of thing you want to invest an enedless amount of hours into when you pay such a high ticket price.. On top of that I run a business of of this thing, so it just makes things pretty sour.

I dont mind paying high ticket prices to apple if I get the superior craftsmanship and reliability out of it, but that doesnt seem to be happening here. This model seems less than my 2016 MBP with no real innovation that I can notice

Also Kmahmood, disabling turbo boost? Why the hell would I buy and pay for something with turbo, and disable it? I want it to have turbo, but I dont want it to sound like a damn lawnmower.. And if I cant have one without the other, and i cant run a webinar without it sounding like **** in the background, well then I think its time to send this thing back
