What is it that you are doing when this happens?
There is similar thing going on when powering off the machine before it goes dark with my MBP 2019. It is not a fault or problem in my opinion. If yours keep doing this by itself when you are actually using it, then it is not normal.

said the apple service before the problem then said not a problem This screen turns off with each closing. other macbooks don't close like this

Not following you. Do you mean this is seen in the moment when machine turns the screen off when you power it down? If not, please elaborate what you mean exactly?

Anyway, if it is about what I said, it is likely just due to OS version. It was not like that with Mojave, but there were other more serious problems in my opinion (the screen would occasionally flicker for a split seconds while actually using it but it happened like once in 1-2 weeks) and this was fixed in Catalina. If this is the tradeoff for that, I'm very happy with it. But again, I'm not sure are we talking about the same issue.

I'd say that is not caused by a faulty machine. I did not see that with Mojave, so probably just software/driver/firmware feature. Just forget about it... :)

Still I'd say that is not indication of fault. But if it is annoying you, send it to repair or exchange to another unit but prepare for disappointment as it is likely the same in another unit. I would not worry about that unless it does that when you are actually and actively using it, if it does it while powering down, then so what. Displays have been always more or less like that.

What error? Just close the lid.

Probably why you still see it in Mojave could be that "downgrading" OS does not "downgrade" firmware, I haven't checked that but it is common with many devices they don't.

Could you elaborate about what you are asking here?

If it is about that flicker just before it powers off, I don't think it is anything to worry about. Just look away during power off :). If it does that when you are actually using it, then it is a problem.

pressing the close system button becomes certain. happens occasionally during use.

Is this what you're talking about?

Are you using Catalina? Older OS could be unlikely to get any fix.

The previous version did not have this problem, but it started to be in normal use some time after using that version, apple support said software and said the update would be improved, but it did not.

no. this: https://streamable.com/lkl43

Still can't tell what your concern is.
Same here. If it really does that just when it is just powering off, just when the screen goes black, I hardly consider it a fault. I would just look away. But I'm not sure I understood correctly what the problem OP is trying to describe is?

Are you sure it is not this problem you are experiencing (since you say you started to see the problem in normal use with Mojave, if I understood you correctly)?
I can confirm myself that this problem is fixed in Catalina, so in that regards Apple support is right, it is improved in the software update (Mojave > Catalina).

When I select Turn off system, the dock stays stuck and the screen turns off with colored light beams like this. one more person had this problem and uploaded his video to youtube site.

OK, so I understood correctly what you meant. Mine does the same and I don't consider it is a fault. What problems this feature is actually causing you? Have you contacted Apple? Maybe they could provide you some solution.

I have come across a few times those light beams happen occasionally during normal use. When I contacted Apple, they said that it would improve in updating its software.

Apple is correct, it is fixed in Catalina ( so it is improved in update). I had that occasional flicker during use with Mojave and it was completely fixed in Catalina and I have never seen it since. See the link above I posted yesterday for more information about that.

the system can be turned off in my macbook, the dock does not disappear when pressed.
