the system can be turned off in my macbook, the dock does not disappear when pressed.
I still don't get what is the problem with this? That comment is assuming the issue is what shows in the video you linked above and that only happens just when powering off the machine and when the screen turns off.

I'm watching this flicker when I watch normal movies. The light beam that shuts down is not a problem in most macbooks.

And you are running Catalina? If not, I suggest to try with Catalina. Mine stopped doing that when I updated from Mojave to Catalina.

So Catalina is flickering even during use? Why don't you have service checking your machine if it is faulty? It should not flicker during use but there was this problem with Mojave occasionally and it was fixed in Catalina.

I sent it to the service but they sent my product back saying it was a software problem

Well that's what I've been trying to tell you but then again your problem description has been way too vague. You need to describe in detail where and what it is! I understood you had that flicker only during power down, just before the screen goes black - because all I can say, it must be a feature with this model and Catalina (mine does that too). Then that another flicker during use was known problem with Mojave and was fixed in Catalina (mine did that too with Mojave and never since Catalina). If you see flicker somewhere else using Catalina and in different situations, you need to tell and describe in detail (what programs, where, what you are doing with it when it happens and possibly some photos about the problem), so that peoples could offer some help or opinions. One line short comments do not help here!

that's exactly the problem. Now, I connected it to the external monitor, I am doing it occasionally while watching movies and when I go to sleep on the external monitor, I am giving this error. I cannot take a picture because it is instant and erratic during use. But when you close it, it usually closes this way, it's fixed. so I put my computer in service, they said it was software and they returned my product. There was an update, but the problem persisted with me.

OK. Mine does that when I power it off and I consider it "normal". Also I guess it might do the same when it is going sleep (I never use sleep, so cannot comment on that). I have never seen mine doing that during I use it after I updated to Catalina.

Maybe your problem is related to program you use to watch movies?
I mean if that is the only situation where this happens when you actually use the machine, it strongly suggests that it is a software problem. Does this during watching movie also happen only when you have external monitor connected? If so and it is problem free with MBP own display, perhaps it is related to cable or monitor...?

I'm just going to chime in here, I recently bought a 2020 MBP and the exact same thing in your video was happening to me during shut down. I returned it immediately because there are people on the forums with the exact same machine that are not experiencing this issue. None of my PC laptops do anything like that during a shut down. I am currently talking with Apple, I may purchase another one but I also might not. If I do get a replacement unit and it does that it will be going back as well.

It is unfortunate that you are outside of your return window. I have laptops for less than half the price that can shut down properly. Its unacceptable to pay this much for a laptop and have it do something like that at shutdown.

What difference does it make what the screen shows for a split of a second just when it is powering down?

Having lived during times we still had CRT TV's and monitors, I could not care less what it does in the moment of powering up or down.
I would never even consider returning anything for that. If that would happen while I was actually using it, I would consider it a fault.
