I still have a 802.11n WLAN card from my early 2013 MBP 15"Dear Friend— do you still have any of these adapted wi-fi cards for sale? I am using a 2012 15" MacBook Pro 9,1 model (with Mojave no less) that has developed intermittent recognition of the wi-fi card. After it heats up a littte it sees the card, but if I am going deep into its guts to deal with a connection I would just as soon kick up its connection speeds while I'm at it. Many Thanks from Glen....
Hi, @troop231 I registered especially on this forum to ask about gerber file of your project. Or at least some info about AirPort connector pinout and/or name of the connector. Then I think I will manage on my own. I would like to do some similar board for myself but with the m.2 connector. To get rid of that Broadcom wireless once for all. And replace it with AX210 card and be done.Update
Sorry guys, I've unfortunately come to realize that the antenna connectors on the cMBP are too large to be used with the new rMBP 802.11ac cards. I feel like I got so close to finishing the project, yet failed. This would've been an excellent Kickstarter. I even spent the time on developing an adapter board.Feel free to chime in.
