Following a pair of deals on the M3 iMac we shared this morning, now B&H Photo is also discounting Apple's new M3 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. Every discount in this sale represents a new all-time low price for each M3 MacBook Pro model.

14-Inch MacBook Pro

Starting with the 512GB M3 14-inch MacBook Pro, you can get this computer for $1,449.00, down from $1,599.00. This one requires you to add the notebook to your cart and head to checkout before you see the deal price.

Note: You won't see the deal price until checkout.

B&H also has the 512GB M3 Pro 14-inch MacBook Profor $1,799.00, down from $1,999.00. You won't see this record low sale price until you add the computer to your cart and head to the checkout screen.

Note: You won't see the deal price until checkout.

Next, the 1TB M3 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro has hit $2,199.00 on B&H Photo, down from $2,399.00. This one doesn't require you to head to the checkout screen in order to see the deal, as it's been applied automatically on the product page.

16-Inch MacBook Pro

B&H Photo only has one discount on the larger display models. You can get the 512GB M3 Pro 16-inch MacBook Pro for $2,299.00, down from $2,499.00. This is another one that requires you to add the computer to your cart before you'll see the deal price, and it's also another all-time low price.

Here come all the MacRumors comments being like "This isn't even a good discount!" and "Apple should just give me the MacBook Pro for $299 instead!".

:p

... and all the comments about why it sucks that higher specs with more RAM and more SSD aren't also discounted and why Apple should be ashamed to call a machine with 8GB/18GB RAM a "Pro Machine" in 2023...

At least in the US, Apple does not check for Student Discount.

I was surprised by that, but it's true. I'm taking a community college class for Python programming just for fun (my day job is in Life Sciences). I got my M2 Air with student discount and wasn't asked for any verification of student status whatsoever. It's actually harder to get Apple Music on student discount than it is to buy a computer!

Don't abuse this though people. I'd hate to see them make it more difficult for people and that will happen when too many people who don't qualify lie about being eligible.

I think these are some good deals, especially for the base model. Thats really the price it should be. I need to remember this if and when I upgrade in 2027. Even though I am personally looking at making Vision Pro be my primary computing device.

Looks like they don‘t have the high-end M3 Max 16-inch MBP‘s in stock at all, while Apple Stores (at least around the Bay Area) have the 16/40/48gb/1TB configurations in stock (though only in silver as of this writing).

Only space black for the 14" Pro @ $1799?

Also B&H has no tax with Payboo card.

Worth the extra $500 to step up to M3 Pro from a $1199 Apple-refurbished 14" M1 Pro via Microcenter?

M1 Pro is the better deal in that comparison. You’d have the extra USB-C/TB port on the right side, and not be limited to one external display.

not a bad deal Best Buy or anyone else doesn't have these yet on the 14", $200 off..
Uh, Microcenter has been selling base M3 14" MBP for $1,439.99 since the beginning of the month while Adorama had the base M3 14" MBP for $1,399 and the M3 Pro 14" MBP for $1,799 (both Adorama sales now over). But they're never mentioned because they're not a MR affiliate partner.

I realize I wasn't clear and just edited my post.

I'm talking about the 14" M3 Pro @ $1799 (no tax) vs a refurb 14" M1 Pro at $1300 (with tax, Microcenter)

True. But Microcenter stock of those above deals heavily dependent on location, and of course they're in-store only.

I’m somewhat with you on this. Asking for the base model to be under $1400 would be absurd. But I think $1700 for the base model is also absurd. Especially for 8 GB of RAM.

I feel the RAM situation, even more than the Storage, is classic Tim Cook penny-pinching “maximizing shareholder value” nonsense.

Pretty good deal considering how much Apple stuff is priced in that $1600-1900 range right now. I'm still leaning towards snagging up an M1 MBP tho, weirdly that just seems to be enough even 3 years later. Also not really into that "black" color, I would feel like I'm being lied to every time I look at my laptop, not worth.

Or price match at Best Buy and get the holiday return policy. Would this stack with the My Best Buy Plus deal, too?
