I know EXACTLY how that feels.

Only, I'm the one that it happened to.

Step-mom trashed iBook (only screwed the screen, though. She beat it with her hand.)

I was going to post: "This story sounds familiar!"

Wow, thats really harsh, I would have flipped out. The real questions is, what kind of business do you work in that your partner can just drop anotehr 2k on a whim?

Here are some pics.

Sorry about the quality.

Looks much worse in person.

She cracked a couple of things on the logic board.

You're who I was trying to think of! :p

Anyway, this is just horrible... if I was married and my wife did that... ugh, I just don't know. I'd probably call her a psycho or something. For someone to do something that serious to a $2,000+ product like that is just wrong. She. needs. help!

more.

No, I dropped it in my MacBook Pro :)

Nice. Very nice.

Looks like she went all "Basic Instinct" on it with an ice pick. There are some nasty puncture wounds on that laptop. Shame she didn't puncture the battery fully and cop the ensuing exploding detritus in the face.

What a psycho evil woman.

The arguement was over something like she was mad at him for letting some friends come visit somehow or something.

Geeze, imagine if he had done something really bad.

A courier would have brought the MBP box over to you with HIM broken and battered and stuffed in the box with the laptop jammed in his throat.

Like, either she is on drugs, or we don't know the other side of the story, that is unbelievable. Maybe if he cheated or something but that's mad. Don't mess with a man's ...er...Macbook Pro. Like you're threatening his manhood or something. Now if this were my dell, I might actually understand her.
