I can't do that as the earliest I can get to an apple store is a couple of weeks from now, but I'm guessing they'll just swap the case, and if it happens again they'll replace it.

Sorry to say....

I'm sorry to say but this seems to be normal. I've literally seen dozens of MBP's with the same issue.

It is nothing to be worried about, it's just an aesthetic annoyance.
I had it too, just bought a new one that doesn't seem to suffer this annoyance.

Hopefully Apple will opt for either different materials, or a case design that is completely different from the current design. Because it it obvious to me that this design is flawed.

My 17" MBP wobbles too, it was the first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box. The bottom right foot (under the superdrive) does not touch the surface underneth. I usually put a coin under it which stops it wobbling. I didn't think a whole lot of it, as I thought it was quite normal.

I have some other problems aswell so I might ask the Genius Bar to take a look at it as well. They probably won't find anything wrong with it.

Mine is like this too. The superdrive leg never touches the desk in lots of places i take the book.

I thought it may be because the desk is not level, but it does it in a lot of places.

the MBP rocks, literally :(

Wow, I'm actually relieved there's others suffering from the same issue, at least that means there's proof it's not just my MBP, which should increase the chances they'll replace the casing.

I've already had this laptop for around two weeks now so I can't just return it unfortunately, I'll have to wait another week and a half to get to an apple store anyway.
