I'm really hoping that we start seeing some tangible delivery information shortly.

I suspect that once the various shipments clear customs then there will be a flood of activity

I thought they already told you your number yesterday?
I thought so too. I reached out again today about something else and then I just asked the question again just to double check. This time, they were unable to provide a number/ID and said that my Mac is still in China...

Well yesterday's person didn't invent a number, so it was almost certainly correct.

let's wait for midnight/tomorrow morning as there will undoubtly be some movement. Once DHL starts working again tomorrow, they will update the delivery window to a (hopefully) earlier date :)

I've just asked if they could tell me the bulk tracking number and they said no... the only number they have is the one thats listed on the site which I have.

I think this means either he couldn't be arsed to look because its Sunday or its still sat in the warehouse.

One thing I did notice though was the site now says it was despatched on the 19th... yet I had an email on the 18th saying it had been despatched and the site then said it was the 18th that it was despatched. Not sure whats with the sudden extra day

Hi guys,

I ordered my MBP 15" few minutes after the keynote ended for a shipment in Switzerland. Yesterday, my apple order status was updated with the tracking number and the carrier but I can't find any relevant information on it.
The carier is TNT Express International and the tracking number is 11 digits. Do you have any information to give to me ?
(Sorry if this has already been asked, only checked on the last 15 pages)

I think you need to take the last two digits off the tracking number. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will chime in soon to help you out. :)

Had a non-informative chat with CS. Although, was the 'shipped from China' a slip up?....

Ordered right after keynote, 3-4 week delivery, dispatched and charged Friday, charge fell off yesterday. delivery est. 28th

I was told something similar today!!

There is no way the 17th dispatch group are still in China. The few that went by UPS on the 17th have definitely left China, we have proof of that. The rest most certainly have too.

We've seen that the CS really don't know what they are talking about. Many have said, or at least implied, that they are flying from China to The Netherlands when it is clear they are all actually flying to Luxembourg and then going by ground.

I just contacted U.K. after sales support, they told me a tracking number: 7CP2824. This seems to be almost identical to what you all saw on yours!

It is okay Apple, keep them in China for 10 more days!! or ship them with donkeys. Send us your invoice, take our money on time. Next year make it self service, we can come and collect them from China and you can save some more money, what about that!

This is so pointless trying to track an untracked delivery from china.

I'm not convinced that the information Apple support is giving you about flights etc is even accurate. They probably have no clue but they won't admit that.

If it's not traceable from china direct just wait until DHL or whoever updates it. The fact is if it's due for delivery Thursday then it could arrive in holland on Wednesday as they can do next day delivery from Europe.

Seriously. Just go read some reviews and watch videos on YouTube.

Unless you have tracking from china in which case feel free to vent about how slow it is because you actually know it's slow as you know where it is!

I agree that many of them don't seem to know what they are talking about regarding the shipment tracking. However, I must comment on your last statement. It seems that there also are many DHL shipments from Shanghai that flies directly to Amsterdam. For example, 7CP2808 flew with CZ453 which goes PVG-AMS.
