I tried to chat with Apple, that didn't work. I need to CALL, no other way for help. So that's what I am doing now. But it will last around 45 minutes or so, just like last time.

I am very disappointed by the apple support. Everytime I call them I have to enter my order number on the telephone and then the voice says that there are no employees available. They just end the call after that. Every other company like Google and Amazon do this better. Just Apple acts like it's 1994.
 
Oh the guy also said (when I mentioned retailers doing £100 off new MacBook pros) that if you can find an example of one with same spec then telephone Apple CS and they'll be able to match that price.
 
At least you guys have some information.
I placed my order at the beginning of the month (no Apple store here) via reseller. Initially they told me 2 weeks (which was impossible to say the least), now it's "at the end of the month" but I doubt that as well since I've ordered so late. So I just wait and wait and wait with no clue at all :)

It is no problem, if your MacBook will be shipped on Wednesday that it will be with you on Friday. Technically, it is possible. Apple just screwed the whole process.
 
Apple NL does have Chat Support. Contacted them multiple times... Not very helpfull though
 
Well, CS can't/won't give me the air freight number in the UK, but did tell me that he thinks it was in Eindhoven (yeah right).

I've also queried the whole Applecare starting on the 17th (from invoice/shipping) and not when I get the product, was told that it is standard that it starts when the product is dispatched, but he also to me to query that with Applecare team directly once it arrives as the product has not arrived within 4 days, so ensure you all do that for them that have been waiting longer than that by the time they arrive and should hopefully be able to get the dates updated for the full year.

Currently calling with Apple NL about the price matching with central point. First guy I talked to didn't know about the price matching and had to ask his supervisor.

Update: he talked to his supervisor. They won't match the price.

He gave me the advice to first wait to receive my macbook pro because a lot of people were ordering it.

Feeling realy tempted to switch to Centralpoint. My delivery window is 25 november - 2 december. Central point says shipping is possible within 10 days (so basically the same). But they don't have the best reputation.

I just got given freight 6PR4378 by Apple UK customer support. Anyone know what "Documents recovered" means? Apple says estimated delivery 35th, original was 17-24

Conclusion: they don't know anything more than we know.... apple created a label for the shipping, but DHL hasn't received anything yet. So as far the lady's concerned, the package is in the same spot as it was when the label was created. But she also said "I really can't give you any other information than "shipment notification received".

Also worth mentioning: my brother, who has ordered the same config as I did, 24 hours after me, just went to the "shipped" status. Estimated delivery was 24 nov - 1 dec. Now apple says 25 November for delivery date with DHL.

When did his preparing for shipment status come? i have 25dec-2dec window. And is still in processing status. And 30 nov i go away for 4 weeks. So if i dont get it before 29th i think i rather cancel the order and order a new one and get it when i come home again

I googled for earlier posts of UPS shipments through Cologne and in the ones I found it usually takes 26 hours or so to clear customs there. That is why our macbooks are still sitting in Cologne.. They need to clear customs.
