Me too PFS.

But are they in China or Europe?

If they are in China and they go out tonight they MAY reach the UK by Friday. Any delay and it will probably be Monday next week.
Odds are they're in China, however the whole of Europe went to PFS at once, compared with the Americans who trickled in. Perhaps they are in Europe, and Apple activated everyone's PFS once the mass shipment arrived in Eindhoven or wherever.

Or maybe they did it just to shut us up & stop people calling up tomorrow complaining! :p;)

They won't have shipped out our BTO computers when the cancel button was still active on the order page. 99.9% sure they are still in China at this moment.

I know normally they ship BTO's direct from China (i.e. start the production line on your specific machine when you order), but I genuinely think they have produced a batch of each version of the config way in advance and have shipped all those to a central location in Europe.

How many combinations of BTO could there be? two models of 15-inch + two 13-inch with 4 configurable options each, so maybe 20-30 permutations? (someone better at maths can calculate the actual number :)). They pre-make a few thousand of each permutation and ship those direct to Europe - enough to cover the first 2-3weeker batch. Any left over form the first wave of the second batch. They then follow on with true direct from China BTO's following that.

My money's on all our batch 1 laptops being in a European warehouse as we speak. Just thinking out loud ;)

Just got back from training, disappointed that my order didn't go to P4S. I then casually start to catch up with all the posts and suddenly I see lots of you going into P4S.
I immediately check again, and guess what?
P4S YESSSSSS!!!!!

Delivery window 16-23 Nov. Depending on where it's shipped from might get it before the weekend!

I so hope you are right!!! :D

How many combinations of BTO could there be?

Lots and lots and lots. You've forgotten the keyboard variations, power supplies, languages, preinstalled software, and more.

I hope you're right though!

Okay, I thought it would be fun to compute the number of options! We have four base SKUs (13" base, upgraded; 15" base, upgraded). From there, there are loads of combinations. Here is the maths for just what is available on the UK store:
  • 13" 1: 2 colours, 3 processors, 2 RAM, 1 storage, 19 keyboards, 2 Final Cut, 2 Logic Pro = 2 x 3 x 2 x 1 x 19 x 2 x 2 = 912
  • 13" 2: 2 colours, 3 processors, 2 RAM, 2 storage, 19 keyboards, 2 Final Cut, 2 Logic Pro = 2 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 19 x 2 x 2 = 1824
  • 15" 1: 2 colours, 2 processors, 1 RAM, 4 storage, 2 graphics, 19 keyboards, 2 Final Cut, 2 Logic Pro = 2 x 2 x 1 x 4 x 2 x 19 x 2 x 2 = 2432
  • 15" 2: 2 colours, 2 processors, 1 RAM, 3 storage, 2 graphics, 19 keyboards, 2 Final Cut, 2 Logic Pro = 2 x 2 x 1 x 3 x 2 x 19 x 2 x 2 = 1824
Which is a grand total of 6992 combinations!!!

Yeah, they're coming from China! Unless they were built to order, and then shipped here without us knowing.

(Disclaimer: it's late and I'm not very good at maths. If I have made a catastrophic error in this calculation please let me know! :p )
