It seems to have cleared customs and arrived in AMS 16.37 yesterday. Still no tracking update on the waybill...

Not had DHL text for 2yrs. So when alert about being out for delivery popped up, it also brought up a text from two years ago asking for money. In my frazzled state I thought they were connected
Well, I have ordered it right after the announcement on 27th October. Delivery was stated to be 17th November - 24th November. It changed to shipped on the 17th. but has not moved since then.
I am not too hopeful, I'll get my mbp by the stated date.

Just had my dhl with courier notification.... they seem to be aiming for a bold midnight delivery time

No I didn't buy AppleCare, and yes you have a time window after delivery to buy it (not sure how long off top of my head - about a month I think).
My MBP has just gone to "Out for Delivery" here in the UK as well. I get the feeling today is going to be an unproductive "Working from Home" day. Fortunately everyone I work with was warned in advance that this may be the case...

I also have no new DHL status but got the Get started mail. Very strange. Can't believe in a todays delivery.

It sure looks like it.. DHL isn't fast with updating their statuses and other folks in the same countries do have the "Out for delivery" update.
