Ordered custom 15" on 3rd Nov, estimate delivery 14-20 Dec.
After few weeks of waiting finally something changed and I can see a charge (pending) on my cc, however order status is still processing.

I'm really happy something is moving on, but now I'm wondering how long I need to wait.
Looks like that pending charge means it will be shipped soon and should arrive even before 14 Dec or am I wrong :D ?

A sales person told me that a pending charge means it's going to be assembled and then a full charge will be made just before shipping from China
How long it took for you guys to get fully charged after a cc lock/pending charge, and then shipped ?

Thanks

It's more than likely there already made and all in crates ready to be shipped on Monday/Tuesday latest and they're charging us all before they leave the manufacturing warehouse

So guys! Some movement here for my 13" BTO I have the delivery window 12.-14.12 and now Apple just reserved the amount on my credit card! I know that doesn't mean anything but there sure is hope for me! ;P

EDIT: Glad to see that others also have been charged! Let's hope that they can deliver a bit earlier than promised ☺️

Not sure if people are aware but there seems to be plenty of Stock in the UK (In my area at least!) Worth checking... picked up the 15" today and cancelled my order. So happy I don't have to wait another couple of weeks to arrive. Plus it should mean someone else will get theirs a little sooner!

Hey Guys,

I have ordered mine on the 2/11/16. Still haven't been charged but the delivery time is between 8-14 December. Anyone with similar timeframes and different status. Mine is still at processing items. It's been like this for 3 weeks now.

Any help?
I'm with you bro, spent the whole day contemplating whether to just skip out and get the highest spec'd model in store. Tired of waiting

I got a Stock Macbook Pro 13 inch and received on Thursday (one day earlier then expected dates). The MBP is very good but the keyboard tapping is loud.

However the one apple gave me has a fault with the battery and I only get 2 hours use on 100% battery. So called Apple they gave me a replacement and I am stuck for the broken MBP for three weeks till the new one comes. However in the end I got a free iphone leather case for a gesture of good will and my order will be shipped to uk on expeditied so i should expect it even sooner, as I got told I get put to the front of the line! Fair play Apple. Be careful of dodgy batteries

When should I receive any update from DHL?

Apple says that I'll receive it on the 1st

I have exactly the same details too - I ordered a 15" Space Grey stock version (2.7GHz / 512GB) and i'm based in the UK. I too was given 1st Dec. So nice to see at least a couple of people with the same wait!

I'm also trying to contain my excitement about the release of the 5K display - want to get my order in as early as possible :)

Apple tryed to charge my account, but it got rejected don't know why :(. Now I have to wait till monday so I can go speak with my bank...

Tryed changing the debit card to my girldfriend's one but they don't accept it either, so weird, we have enough money in each bank account (separated ones) and use those cards to pay every online buy (been buying several things these days for black friday).

Why Apple doesn't want my money!? :(

dhl is so lazy for not working on weekends :( in my business the operation is going on 24/7 everyday of the year

You have reached your credit card limit for this month (in my case the limit is 5000 euros). It seems your girlfriend also reached hers too.
Ask your bank to raise it ;-)

Anyone knows how to ask DHL to hold the package at their depot so I can go and pick it up myself?

i got a SMS where i could answer with a 1 to pickup myself at depot, or a 2 if i wanted normal delivery
maby dhl doesnt have that service in your country

Does an order change to P4S on a weekend? Or will there be no change until monday? Because then I could stop checking my order status every 4 minutes :p

I'd like to know this too. Tried finding the answer on their UK website this morning but I couldn't see it. Perhaps I'm just too tired.

I often had to do this for UPS or TNT, relatively painless. Picking up a delivery at a DHL depot (not a small post office) is the worst thing you can ever do. Last time it took me two hours to get it. YMMV but at least here in Northern Germany, it was the worst.

After your order changes to P4S you still have more than a week of waiting ahead of you. So relax and enjoy your weekend...

Same dates here (Germany, ordered the same model as you did too ;)). Not sure, but think we'll have to wait until Monday to see DHL updates. Then things could move a little faster.
