I think it'll ship with UPS, because it's from Prague (with some adapters). All of my orders from Prague came with UPS.
But my fingers are still crossed for all of us

;)
Did you receive it yet ?? :)
Let us know how you like your MBP!

I have just received my MBP 2.6gHz/SSD 1To/460 Go/Sideral
Unboxing and first install with iCloud is done. (I do a fresh install...good way to get rid of old not-so- usefull apps)

First impression is (sorry to be cruel) : it's really Nice and beautiful !
I enjoyed the lesser weight, the smaller dimensions
The construction quality is gorgeous (as Steve said) : this for me justify also the painful high price... like a luxury watch that gives the same hour than a Seiko. It took time for me to accept that, you cannot imagine how I doomed Apple after the macbook keynote.

I love the color, the display is excellent, the sound is terrific, the trackpad is huge and sooo nice to use .
The touch bar seems nice but I don't see the interest at the moment. I start to with automatic correction that helps my sometimes hesitating English.
The keyboard is surprisingly pleasant to use and I've been quickly at ease with it...except ..suspens, see below ;)
This MacBook seems to be really fast, I have maybe noticed a micro lag while scrolling up and down heavy webpages.

The fans are audible in a very very quiet environment BUT it's a so slight whisper that the word audible is quite too strong

I'm a little bit disappointed by : 1) the cutting edges, especially around the lateral air inlet slits,
2) the keyboards thats is too noisy even with a small pressure on the keys (I'm a smooth operator)
3) the sound of the trackpad clic, which sounds "cheap"...is there a way to change it or to decrease it's volume ?
Nevertheless i've read so much reviews about that, that I was excpecting those small issues. The disappointment comes in the fact that they are true ...

To answer to Anoi : my fingerprint reader is a little bit lousy, but it seems to be normal. (I didn't use it a lot, but it is as lousy a the "on" key of my MBP 2013)

Now, I have to say : "bon courage" to all of us, who are waiting for the macbook
It desserves the wait !

Was yours BTO or stock, and when did you return it? I'm on my 3rd week waiting for a replacement, it was supposed to arrive this week, but they pushed me back to January.
It was BTO... MacBook Pro 13" NTB with 16GB of ram. The return ticket was opened on 2016-12-12.

Mine has gone to 'preparing handover to final carrier' too!
So I'm going away this evening and it looks like it'll be delivered tomorrow, is there any way I can change the delivery address (without pushing back my delivery) so I can get it delivered to the addresss I'll be staying at over Christmas????

when I called DHL to ask for a pickup at their local warehouse, DHL rep told me that for Apple product , the instructions may ONLY come from Apple customer service. So my advice is : call Apple not DHL

You need to call apple, they are the only one that can give instructions to the carrier. (I too asked about eventually changing the address).
I received the same info as you : handing to final carrier but I still don't have my tracking number, it's frustrating as heck.

Thanks for the advice but I rang Apple And I can't change the delivery address, it's too late as it's already shipped :( Going to have to ring DHL later when I finally have a house bill number so I can ask them not to deliver until 29th December.. :(

good luck then. hope your DHL rep won't be thick as a brick like the one I got this morning on the phone (overall they do their job)

Weird. Apple's status says: Preparing handover to final carrier, but still no update from DHL... Only shipment information received from 2 days ago. Any thoughts on this?

If your status changed to "Preparing handover to final carrier" today, stay tuned - Your DHL Express tracking will update shortly.

Some good news here at last! DHL Express tracker has finally been updated to "Processed at AMSTERDAM" with an estimated delivery tomorrow by the end of day. So hopefully it will arrive tomorrow, and I might be able to sleep a little better at night from now on. :)

Don't you think it's still in China? Or could it be in Amsterdam already today / tomorrow?
@MaximTV is right. My status also changed to "Preparing handover to final carrier" earlier today, and after a while DHL Express tracker was also updated. Before that DHL Express status was "Shipment information received" since Monday.

There we go! A mixture of excitement and sadness knowing I won't actually hold it until the 29th!

I confirm, I had the same yesterday, and I have been delivered today
the steps are incrementing very fast then

for me there was at least 2 hours lag between apple and dhl , check first apple tracking

so what are you going to do now? are you trying to put the shipment on hold or something?

Yeah the only thing I can do is call DHL (only after one failed delivery apparently acccording to DHL) to ask them to reschedule my delivery to the 29th. I did enquiry about changing the address it would be shipped to but both Apple and DHL said it wouldn't be possible, I then spoke to DHL again after my tracking had updated and they said it could work but it would take up to 48 hours to be processed through their systems and they'd need direct confirmation from Apple.
Seeing as I'm at my wife's parents until the 26th then my parents until the 29th I thought it might be a safer but to just wait and get it redelivered to my home address on the 29th what with the busy Christmas period..

Are you guys looking forward to getting your new MacBook Pro's? I decided to wait until next year at least to upgrade my 2011 MacBook Pro. Does the reported bad battery life worry you? The Space grey looks really good and so does the new Touch Bar :)
