These were the guys who let slip on Twitter that the MacBook Pro was coming end of October. Definitely intentional because I hadn't heard about them till that happened. They were taking preorders in early October. Think I'll order one now...need something to shorten the wait before the main event!

that's all the relevant info for this case.
Mine is also there - I use the Deliveries app (Deliveries: a package tracker by Junecloud LLC
https://appsto.re/gb/DGbwr.i) with the DHL tracking number off the Apple order. Click on the track delivery and the add the tracking number in Deliveries.

Took three days after my card was charged for the status to change to prepairing for shipment. Hopefully you're won't take as long!

My order was shipped by DHL to Germany, but I am not from Germany and provided the address of my friend (I will come to Germany on the date of delivery to pick up). Will it be possible to pick up the order from DHL Office if I don't have the address of delivery in my Passport. Do they check it?

but it says "Delivery information received" in.. Eindhoven
so that's not guarantee of the MBP in Netherlands
You might get lucky if you take the invoice with you... but they usually need the recipients (the address it is sent to) ID
DHL won't allow you to pickup your order at a "DHL Hub" - tried multiple times, always got rejected and told i have to wait until the package is delivered by the DHL truck
Edit: or do you mean a Post station where packages which couldn't be delivered are stored for pickup?
The pending charge has fallen off my bank account and now back up to where it was before purchase.
Yes of course you can collect with another adress on you id but your friend has to do the paperwork for you ("yes i want mr xx to collect my shipment" with a scan of his passport)
maybe go to eindhoven and don't let any DHL Trucks leave until they give you one macbook?
