dayum lucky you! Also ordered 13" stock with delivery date Nov 24-30 and still no P4S and no charge yet

If it's anything like the first lot don't lose hope - I think I'll be stuck on P4S for three days now until there is a big update of them. The Apple person I spoke to yesterday said P4S can last up to three days so that sounds about right.

but it says "Delivery information received" in.. Eindhoven
so that's not guarantee of the MBP in Netherlands
True, but the weird thing is dat it also states where it would be picked up by DHL. They are going to pick it up in Waalwijk, that's where Apple's warehouse is. If they would ship it directly from China, why would it pass the warehouse? :/

BTO Dispatched via DHL to the UK. Estimate of delivery: 25th Nov, how can it take 8 days to get to the UK from The Netherlands???

let's see if on the next update we're able to see where it comes from and the more accurate delivery date :)

My 13" with US keyboard shipped as well. DHL express from Eindhoven to Frankfurt, Germany. Apple site still says delivery on 23rd, but I doubt it. Should be here tomorrow or monday.

Something I don't understand:

If you assume the macs that will be delivered by DHL are still in China, why is there 0 movement while the UPS ones, who are quite obviously still in China (shown by scans and such) are showing way more information and movement.

Is that just how DHL and UPS work?

Yes. Example from Amazon Germany: When you order something from a UK Amazon Warehouse, you get a tracking number which shows the "Shipping info received", but nothing happens for 2-3 days. Then suddenly tracking information begins in some German city.

I assume it's the same here. They come from China, but tracking only works starting from NL. I think the date Apple tells us (23rd in my case) is correct. Unfortunately.

Maybe labels are printed in China and MacBook shipped by a charter flight to Eindhoven. Then Apple will hand out the MacBooks to DHL. This way, DHL will not take over the transport from China to NL.

Can the UPS and TNT guys post some tracking updates?
Seems like the DHL crowd won't have that "fun".

And are there any plane tracking wizards, like in the other forum?

Good news- just passed my theory test from first attempt

Bad news - my MacBook delivery est is 13-19 December (UK)

That would be great!.. Cant really think of any reason why it would take this long for them to arrive.

no wizard, but I think these are all the UPS/DHL flights that are in the air now;
UPS: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/ups-airlines-5x-ups
DHL: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/dhl-air-d0-dhk
note that the order is on flight number, so new planes don't necessarily show at the top.

also, a friend of mine is a pilot for DHL. pretty sure he doesn't fly from china, but I could ask him for some insider info ;)

EDIT: UPS 81 just left from China, pretty sure its another load of MacBooks for our US friends..

Hi everyone!
Well, I think it will be a nice place to spend some time on until my new MBP arrive. :)
Had lof of fun reading the comments. :)

Just my 5 cents. I think we already after first huge shipping wave when Apple needs to drop new laptops to all "important" people (retail stores/golden partners/tech reviewers/etc...). So from now on I think all shipping process will go much smoother.

I don't see a reason why DHL cannot ship from China. It could also be done "implicitly", by LH Cargo, or their Joint Venture AeroLogic. In fact, there is D-AALC just flying from Leipzig to East Midlands, after it just arrived there fro Shanghai. Also, there is D-AALA currently en route from Hong Kong to Leipzig. We should admit that we cannot guess what's really going on but only hope for the best :)

Guys, does anyone know of a way to reach apple besides the useless CS? Because I'm getting nowhere and I need to get my laptop next week! I'm going away after that!
