For what it's worth, the Apple support told me that he could see additional information besides what's available to me and confirmed that they shipped a batch yesterday from China and was on its way to European warehouse. Shipping with DHL.

Same here. Ordered on the 29th Oct (SG,13",2.9,16,512) delivery date of 6 Dec to 12 Dec.

Hoping it comes earlier, although I'm not really in a hurry as my 2013 13" is fine. I just want my new shiny toy!!

Wish i could say the same thing. Ive already sold my 2012 MBA, been a struggle without it!

Interesting, so it might be on the road to Eindhoven... tho I do not trust them....

it could have been on LH8409 which left Shanghai, PVG some time before midnight (local time in Shanghai)... then they would be in Frankfurt since 10.56am (had 40 minutes delay).... and on the way to Eindhoven o_O

PVG is almost certain I think, but since they are not yet in the hands of DHL, I think Frankfurt is a good bet. Besides, there are no flights from PVG to Leipzig or Brussels as far as I can see. So cargo flight to Frankfurt, Syncreon truck to Eindhoven, and DHL to us...

it's in the air right now, arriving in Frankfurt in about 3 hours (glitch on some tracking sites, flightradar24 has it listed, others don't... probably a cargo thing?):

EDIT: it's about 100km north of Moscow at the moment

It could also be one of the 2 yellow ones southeast of Russia (see blue line), same route for that. Or maybe it's already in Germany. Who knows ;)

I think it's safe to assume at this point that those who have DHL have different paths and different means than TNT and UPS!

Probably for us in the DHL group the packages are coming via Lufthansa Cargo...

Just did some good ol' Wiki research; it seems that DHL and Lufthansa Cargo have a subsidiary air cargo company called AeroLogic which flies to Shanghai, Frankfurt and Leipzig too.

" AeroLogic [is] a joint venture between Lufthansa and DHL, which henceforth caters for the DHL flights, allowing Lufthansa Cargo to concentrate on other services "

So maybe if you look for those too since I cannot use flightradar atm

I have an 24nov-1dec delivery window and mine is also P4S now.. but I don't think that you and I should get our hopes to high about getting it next week - might slip into the week after due to the fact that we get the P4S right up to the weekend. I would not expect the shipping status before Tuesday I think.

But it'll be interesting to see if our stock model is being sent from NL or China.

It's possible, but I cannot find any flights from Asia to Europe by Aerologic... they also state:
"On weekdays, freighters mainly fly to Asian destinations in the express network operated by DHL Express. At weekends AeroLogic is at Lufthansa Cargo´s services."

I cannot find flights by AeroLogic originating from PVG in the past, but then again, we do not know if maybe there was a layover or whatsoever...

BUT: there is an AeroLogic flight BOX 573 for tomorrow, from PVG to FRA (but apparently they are underway, so let's stay with DLH ;-) )

I do not want to get your hopes up, but, I think that these logistic firms work 24/7. So it is quite possible that it could change to shipped over the weekend.

I guess the same, because flight LH8401 was mentioned a few years ago from someone else while tracking his MacBook Pro order. Looks like an entire plane fully loaded with MacBook orders for Europe :)

My TNT shipment just changed to "Shipment Received At Tnt Location - PUDONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT" 15 minutes ago (which is 8:10 PM Shanghai time). So still waiting for a plane...

That is not the case when you order something in stock (iPad, accessories and so on) that comes from NL... if you get P4S on Friday it will be stuck there until Monday afternoon when it is shipped.. that has been the case every time for me but let's hope the work their asses of sending these things out to us!
