@bornchilla is your delivery window earlier than 23-30?

Called DHL CS now, the guy said that the package is in the Netherlands (there's a but though) with Apple and that they have to collect it first, which he doesn't know when will happen. He said I can expect it around Monday or Tuesday.

The catch is that he cannot see whether Apple actually has the MacBooks or not because Apple's NL warehouse generated that paperwork and didn't call for collection yet. They are probably using something else that will deliver from China to Apple's warehouse in NL and then call DHL in to collect.

Nice one! all i am hoping for at this point is that we get UPS because they are almost always fantastic with fast deliveries whereas DHL is pretty meh. maybe we will be one of the last shipments over to Europe before the end of the week which would be sweet

i'm hoping I get DHL Express - Never had a bad experience with them. UPS is "alright" here, but they always come super late.

ah that is true of course in terms of time they come quite late. I really just want it to say shipped at this point so i can relax haha

I still think the delay was due to the prioritisation of the North American shipments.

So I suspect (at least hope) that now that initial glut of machines are out of the way, we will find things speeding up, so :

Tranche 1 (2-3wks) - Get theirs at the very end of their window
Tranche 2 (3-4wks) - Get theirs near the beginning of their window
Tranche 3 and beyond - Get theirs sooner than their window

That would put things into the more usual experience of Apple 'overdelivering' when it comes to shipping windows, with only the first tranche of EU orders suffering because of the blatant emphasis on beating targets for their US market first.

I think we hope for nothing, apple say to me the 25, it ll be the 25 (1 day later than the expected delay).. and during this time , in the us , they have bto in physical Apple Store , they received the MacBook Pro 5 days ago ....

has anyone's status changed to "shipped" today? also around what time CET did your changes usually change to shipped?

I saw it happens mostly in the evening. PFS also last night. So there's still hope. Mine is still PFS though
yeah thats what i gathered too.. i believe mine changed around 18.00-18.15 CET yesterday.. so as you say there is still hope

Ordered something else from Apple yesterday and it's coming from Prague. Maybe the MacBook will be the first thing that comes from Eindhoven to me. :D

21-28 Nov but now 28 Nov... hoping it will move forward again.
How can I track my shipping??
It depends on your carrier. I'm sure Apple provided you with a tracking link / tracking number on the order status page

DHL isn't to blame here. Apple just cheap-ing out by bulk sending them to one warehouse in the EU and using cheaper local couriers to dispatch.

More importantly than being potentially "cheaper" to do it this way, I expect it is considerably more efficient too. I think I would rather see a few large shipments going out to distribution points nearer the customer than see thousands of individual shipments coming from China.

Besides, I would rather see Apple using cheaper shipment methods than cheaper materials and technology in the device itself.

My TNT shipment now changed to "Shipment in transit - PUDONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT" at 11:22 PM. My bet is that it will now fly to Arnhem, or maybe to Hong Kong first and to Arnhem from there (I noticed they don't always route it the same way).
