MacBook Pro Late 2016 EU shipping

Hi all,

First post here and wanted to share my findings.
Im waiting for a 15" macbook pro SG, US keyboard, 1TB, 460. Ordered the eve of the launch from The Netherlands.
Mine is being shipped with UPS and the current status is the following:
Location Date Local Time Activity
Shanghai, China 18/11/2016 20:36 Export Scan
Shanghai, China 17/11/2016 22:03 Arrival Scan
Shanghai, China 17/11/2016 21:48 Departure Scan
Shanghai, China 17/11/2016 19:31 Origin Scan
Shanghai, China 17/11/2016 3:59 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

After checking , googling and flightradaring for a while, my guess is that it will follow UPS flightno 5X11 from Shanghai to Seoul , to Almaty to Cologne. Probably arriving here on Monday or Tuesday. The question that bothers me most is why mine has been sent with UPS while most of the others use DHL. I have not seen posts from anyone who's MBP are being shipped with UPS.

a "few" pages back you can see some other people with UPS shipping, you mgiht get it faster than with DHL Express tho ;-) It might be connected to the keyboard, but it's pure speculation.
 
My Macbook Pro (15" 460 1TB 2.9Ghz) was ordered hours after keynote. Had delivery 17-24 Nov to Sweden.

Today it changed to 6-9 dec.
 
Yup. I called them and went for a long wait while they tried to figure things out. Got answer that the demand was high on the configuration and nothing to do.

I would at least cite some of the American orders initially scheduled for early December but got theirs already.

doesnt give additional information, at the moment even less than the tracking page (doesn't recognize the code yet).... so nothing missed!

My MacBook just got shipped! It ships from Eindhoven. How long will it take until it arrives in germany?
 
God I really hope the shipment is already in DHLs hands tomorrow morning when I wake up. I can't stand waiting anymore and hope it won't be Tuesday.

Edit: Wow, so 1 week later delivery windows gets shipped just one day later?
 
Order shipped. 13 inch stock. Delivered nov 28 according to apple. I was in the 3-4 weeks timeframe. 24 nov - 1 dec
