Anyone else been part charged for their order? I hadn't noticed until now but Apple have taken 6% of my total order value as an "authorisation" payment from my PayPal account....
Ahhrg First i noticed my delivery date got pushed back from "2-3 weeks delivery 17-24 November" to "7-10 days 6-9 December", then I got a call (!?) from Apple where they apologised for the postponed delivery. Well... at least I got a call Ordered a 15" MPB 15 minutes after presentation. Location: Sweden.

I got charged during the night but still processing.. Apple starts to bother me.

oh and btw delivery on 25th of november with DHL express apparently so lets see. was supposed to be 23-30 november and it is also going to/from eindhoven then to germany which is good!

Just had a phone call with DHL. They are saying that the Macbook already are in the Netherlands and Apple have to hand them over to DHL. The delivery will probably be tuesday or wednesday. The day before a sms will be send out.
Did your guys' status change before that happened? Like did it go to P4S or was it stuck on processing the entire time?
Sorry - my mistake - I totally forgot there are two stock models of the 15 inch...It is, actually. The top stock 15" has 2,7GHz CPU.

A little frustrated it's going to take ten days from shipping to get to me - but happy I've been moved to shipped.
Luckily I have Friday off work - I suspect that it'll land with DHL on Friday for final delivery on Monday, if so, I'm intending on driving to the depot and picking it up as I'm an impatient child.

Shipment information received in Eindhoven today, does that mean the MacBook is already in Eindhoven? Or are the stock models coming straight all the way from China as well?

I believe it's in China - the documentation is to tell them to expect it and fasten up customs stuff
Okay, that would mean that DHL won't track the delivery on its flight from China though, right? They'll start tracking it when it arrives in Eindhoven? Apple says to expect delivery in 7 days but that seems absurdly long for an express delivery service.
Does anyone know how this procedure went down for the Americans? What's a realistic delivery estimate?

What do you mean? So they already arrived or did you just misunterstood that they will be sent out once they arrive from China? I don't think Apple would hold them back now, that would be beyond stupid.
