I was thinking about getting a 'golden' Mac Pro and and 'golden' Cinema Display... Would be a cool 70's style eyecatcher... Unfortunately it would be too expensive to ship these babies to Germany, where I am located.

Heh, true. I sold it in early December, would have sold it earlier, but my box was at home. I still got $720 for it. They were selling for over $1k before that CNBC article..
What's funny about this (to me), is that I'm not even buying anything. Just having me some fun. That's nice (again, to me).
What interests me the most is whether they will once again cater to the "ipod-crowd". The mass-consumer, average joe/joline etc. Or will they pull their pants (up!) and get to work?
I hope for the latter, but expect the former.

Mexico Store down too...
You guys probably live in the US, so, good for you... But, I was checking all the stores and it seems that the only one, besides the US Store, that's down is the Mexico Online Store!! That's good for me! I'm also impatiently wainting for an MBP...

LOL, nice photoshop! I hope the people painting those things aren't some mac-geeks of the male sex. Unfortunately, they propably are, so that PS scares me quite a bit.
