MacBook Pro Launch February 12th?

Am I the only one that's enoyed to bits about the fact that there are some people in the world that know everything about the new MBP? What it will be like, how much is is going to cost... When it will be released! Good thing the Apple Store is closed... Maybe we'll know soon too.

If the only update will a black keyboard I'm going to be pissed off, by the way. ;)
 
Apple Store Closed 4 updating

Apple stored is down 4 updating. Cud this mean our MBP is coming out . I am too excited guys, it has been a long long wait believe me.

Whatever the updated MBP be i wud be just glad to lay my hands on the new one. If the store was not closed 4 the macbook pro update then it wud b very disappointing.

But !
Release of MacOSX 10.5.2 leopard update (necessary 4 the MBP)
Closing of the Store on Tuesday

Cud only meet one thing - MACBOOK PRO is COMMING !!
oh boy its just hours away .. i jus hope when i wake up im in 4 a nice surprise !

Today is your day, and it is going to be an Air-style trackpad and Penryn chips (faster, cooler and more power-efficient). No case redesign. Maybe a black keyboard though I kind of doubt it.

Anyway, you heard it here. Today is the day. Bank on it.
 
MBP Update

I'm waiting for clarification that my indecision will not yet be final.

What I believe I need (and I'm sure I'm far from alone) is a 13" MBP to replace my excellent but non-Intel 12" PowerBookG4 (I regretfully have to use some business apps which require Windows).

MBA isn't the answer (I need a small but true desktop replacement), MB doesn't seem sufficiently robust and the 15" MBP just isn't as easily portable.

From what I see now there just isn't a pricing bracket that would make this feasible.

So what do I buy? - obviously nothing just yet
 
It's already so late I'm going to miss my morning classes.. I just wonder if I should sleep for a few hours first or if they might update it before 5..

You understand me, Tosser. I agree the MacBook Air is hot, but come on... It's just not a MBP. It black keys on a MBP might look cool, I don't know. The real question is, however, will it be much faster or cheaper? Multi-touch trackpads are a nice feature, but I think I'll be using a mouse anyway. After all: I don't want RSI. If there will be a cheaper 17" version or a quicker 15" I'm going to be real exited.

Maybe they will release a whole new MBP: the MacBook Pro Pink. Nice and shiny, with a black keyboard. I bet you never thought about that, did you! :eek:;)

Excellent! A pink MBP!! Man, that would make me vomit.

They might make it all black?

Anyway, remember the black keys on the TiBook? Looked fine to me. Besides, it's easier to read white letters on black than the opposite. If you don't believe me, hold down ctrl+alt/option+cmd and press "8".
 
If a 12" appears I am pretty sure I will be spending. Revamped 15" if no 12" and depending on if it gets the full overhaul, then its a buy instead. I guess the first Airs are now with people on getting to them soon and Apple needs to push its stock price back up, so its a good time for new Macs.

IMO Its down! WHOOHOOO - here come the MBP. I'm ready to be disappointed like last week.

( P.s., wheren't the Time Capsules already listed in the Apple Store? If so, it can't be that ).
