MacBook Pro M.2 PCIe

Hi,

What is the earliest MBP that will accept an M.2 SSD that also supports PCIe ?

I am aware the very newest ones also cater for NVMe too, but i'm just looking to understand which were the earliest ones that did not use the M.2 SATAIII interface?
