Are all the peeps that ordered between the 15th and the 17th who are expecting delivery in November, taking delivery in Europe somewhere?? Looks like a pattern?

It seems this a pattern in Europe. I ordered a MPB (CTO with 4GB) on the 15th and since then the status still remains: Ships in 7 business days, delivered by 3-4 November.

While I can (hardly) wait until the November 3rd, it's a bit strange that the status still remains at 7 business days... I have checked the online store for several EU countries and all of them have the same Ships in 7 business days tune.

Ordered my CTO on the 17th also. Still "Not Yet Shipped" as status. Projected delivery Oct. 23- 29. "I want it NOW"

Think I'll have a Xanax and relax.

I ordered mine on Thursday morning and it still says "Not Yet Shipped" with a "Ships: 3-5 business days" and "Delivers: Oct 22-28".

On the website it says 1-3 days but when I placed my order it magically changed to 3-5 days. I just called up the Apple Store a bit ago and the lady said that she had no idea why it was delayed and then credited my expedited shipping charge.

Oh well, at least we have this "waiting for our MBP" support group...

I ordered my MBP BTO (2.8, 7200) on Oct 16th at 1:18PM

Still at "Not Yet Shipped"

Ships: 3-5 Business days
Delivers: Oct 22-28

Waiting for something like this sucks. I can't wait. Every other computer I've ordered from Apple online has been in my hands within a couple days. The first intel iMac, the aluminum iMac...my Mac Pro.

This one feels the longest!

I ordered mine 8:30 pm PST on the 15th and today it just changed to Prepared for Shipment...but did not leave today :/

It goes from 1-3 -> 3-5 if you add anything to the standard config (i.e., remote, DVI or VGA cable, any internal upgrade, installed software, etc.)

1-3 is if it's already pre-packaged and ready to go; any additions make it custom to order, and take longer to process (and often ship direct from the factory)

I ordered my MBP (standard build) at noon on Oct. 17th and it just changed to "Prepared for Shipment" a few hours ago. :D

P.S. I'm in the US if that helps any.

I did order is standard build, did not add a thing. When I called up Apple, the lady I spoke to said she had no idea why it went from 1-3 to 3-5 either.

Alert: Looks like now in the Apple Store if you customize to have the 320 ghz HD @ 7200 rpm they have moved the shipping time from 3-5 days to 7-10 days!

I really hope it doesn't take extra time to ship. I already was content with waiting but now it may be longer. I ordered mine late night on thursday the 16th.
