Theres allways a thin line in difference with tricky/clueless.

Guess which one was it at yout example IMHO.

Hehehe, you might be right.

He did pointed out though that it's almost impossible to get a macbook pro anywhere near here.

But wouldn't he already got the shipments that needs to be opened tonight and prepared for demo machines?

What if the leaked photos are of macbook 13" and the pro will not have the intel graphic ?

Not the supposedly new 13 inch model (although rumors site are calling it official now) . Intel Hd 3000.

Rumor sites have no ability to call anything "official." It'll only be official when Apple announces the specs and the price. For all you know this may be a low end model laptop that'll be priced at $899. Please try to hold your complaints until you know that there's something to complain about.

AMD Graphics, NOOOooooooo, the sandybridge is Nvidia optimus compatible, why on earth did they not use that ?

damn things are not looking good for the iMac refresh getting an Nvidia card :-(

and here was me hoping to be able to stay with Mac OS for my desktop later this year, guess ill have to keep plodding along with my Macbook (Nvidia 8600GT) and get a PC as a desktop if i want a decent graphics platform.

ive nothing against ATI/AMD under OSx i just find ATI to be the poorer choice drivers and stability wise under windows (the last desktop i had blue screened every 10 mins until i uninstalled the ATI card and drivers and stuck in an Nvidia card) Also, CUDA .. i want my CUDA.

1440x900 on the 15" MBP?

WTF? OK, I'm guessing that the high end 13" and 15" will both have the higher resolution displays. If not..then that is F'd up.

8:30pm here on the 24th, punks. And New Zealand has gone to bed. :D

I won't be getting up at 3am for this one...

The French are up early, and today's breakfast is the 15" specs! In French...

http://www.mac4ever.com/news/60834/exclu_macbook_pro_15_les_specifications/

Highlights:
* Intel Core i7 Quadcore 2.0 GHz
Quad Core is nice, but only 2.0 Ghz? My 07 MacBook has a 2.16Ghz C2D. Even though I know the Quad Core's going to be way faster for some reason I'd still want a processor with more Ghz than the one in my current machine if I bought a new one.

Thunderbolt is good. Not having USB 3 is bad, but expected.

256 MB on a 15' ???... meeeh!

I hope this is the low end 15' or I'll be getting the 17'!

Tests for the GeForce GT 330M showed that the extra VRAM made no noticable real-world difference unless you were using a 24" Apple external monitor. Otherwise, performance for most things was more or less on par with each other. Somehow, I doubt a changeover to AMD would change this.
Perhaps surfing, 3d games on the otherhand are mostly unplayable with the 256MB VRAM on the default resolutions and any modern/quality game.

I do hope they include a minimum of 512 else the lower end are once again basicly useless for any gaming but quit old games.
