Hello,
I'm looking to buy some RAM for my late 2007 macbook (3,1). I have narrowed down the options to two.

1> CRUCIAL- 53.98 - Keep my old RAM for selling/replacement/etc.

2> OWC- 64.24 - KEEP RAM
OR
52.24 - SELL RAM FOR REBATE TO OWC

Which option should I choose?

Thanks!

I replaced my Macbook RAM using Crucial. Worked fine. Now I'm stuck with 2 pcs of 512 MB RAM. I guess I could sell it. I guess. I'd be inclined to go with OWC if only to avoid having old RAM sitting around but it might complicate things depending on whether OWC charges you $54 and doesn't charge extra unless they don't receive your old RAM within so many weeks or days. Waiting for rebate/refund checks is no fun and I'd rather be stuck with used RAM than worry about a rebate/refund.
