32 gig white wi-fi only in stock
I called them about 30 minutes ago and asked for 32 gig black wi-fi only. They estimated it'd take 1-2 weeks but they said that had 32 gig white wi-fi only, in stock.
I'm going to pass on white and just wait (I have orders open w/Apple and J and R already).

Lucky! I ordered my 32 gig black wi-fi only right when J&R opened the morning of 3/26 and it hasn't shipped yet.

I just checked, and saw that mine shipped today as well.
Order was just placed yesterday (32GB, Black, Wifi), and they estimated being able to ship on Friday (4/1). I didn't expect it to ship the next day and be here on Friday!
On the other hand, my 16GB, Black, Wifi unit is still on "back order", and has been since I ordered it on 3/24. It's fine, that is for my parents, and they don't get here until April 8th.
EDIT: My order from J&R for the 16GB/Black/Wifi has been sitting like a dead duck since 3/21 when I placed the order.

Just got my incase book case today at best buy for $43 after tax. I only wish it had a magnet like the smart cover.
i broke down and called back and cancelled by backordered 16 gig black wifi ipad and ordered a white 32 gig wifi. I was teetering on ordering a 32 gig anyways as well as the white, so in all I'm okay with the change. I keep hearing people having space issues on the 16 gig models, so I'm happy with the choice.
Hum...I was also waiting on the 16Gb black WiFi but it's true that my 32Gb iPad 1 has filled up pretty quickly, let's check...yep : 1.8Gb left only, darn, 16Gb clearly wouldn't cut it.
I read that the White version was yellowish around the screen though, hum...maybe that was only for the first units.

if I notice issues I'll just take it to the apple store and get a replacement. You're technically not supposed to return defective products to the retailer anyways.
My status just went from Backordered to Open, so I see that as a good sign. I ordered a black 32GB ATT model.

I just ordered a black 16gb wifi they told me around 1-3 weeks wait. Anyone else hear something different?
That's also what i was told when I called. I didn't end up placing an order...I'm going to hope and pray that my 3/23 J&R order shows up soon.
