I was really just buying it for Kinemac, I also hope MacHeist will unlock Espresso that looks pretty cool as well.

Well I can say that when I pasted in my link and went to it, it did not identify me as the referrer- but can't say about letting the linker know who purchased via their link, but I tend to doubt it. If anybody ever uses my link I will update this!

Edit: I just noticed that some of the earlier ones posted have been used and removed, and at least one person basically said 'thanks to whoever used it' so it would seem that it is indeed fully anonymous. I just hope everyone remembers to come back and edit out their links after they are used so somebody else down the line can get the benefit!

As long as you just provide the link (like in this thread), and don't use the form on the MacHeist invite page, then yes, it's anonymous:

Look at your link.the/u/2222222 indicates your MH customer/member #. when that shows in a MH link, the action will go to your acct.
