Anyone else have their rMBP change status to backordered? I bought the ME294 model, it showed in stock on BF, but just changed to backordered. That's annoying.

Same on BTO MB Air, they expect it to ship On 12/11, I start to worry

BTO status back ordered.

Did not say this at the time I ordered; expected ship date was next day, which was last Friday.

Saying eta is December 11th.

Knowing this would have changed my decision.

Customer service was rude and not helpful (also did not understand English very well, so that was a chore).

Deciding on whether to cancel or not.

Will never buy from them again.

Cancelled mine macmall order and went with B&H, it's only $50 more for mb air and they assured me it is, in fact, in stock. Plus the support was kinda nicer.

I was told my ipad air would not ship until Dec 13 (2+ weeks in the future). It showed up on my door 3 days after ordering (and this was including a holiday)! This has been my past experience with MacMall. They underpromise and over deliver. With no sales tax and BF discount I saved well over $100!

I did see in stock initially. Then, ship by Dec 2. Now, Dec 9.
