    hi,
My second Mac Mini, a 2011 model bought second hand (the 1st owner installed himself additional RAM, could it be the issue?), crashes very frequently. Just for writing this post, Safari crashed two times already. My first one was working fine but I feel like throwing this one out of the window.
I'd appreciate if some experts of the MacRumors community could have a look at the panic logs (latest one below & 5 most recents from the DiganosticReports folder attached ) and let me know what the problem could be. i must add i ran the Apple Hardware Test which found nothing.

    Thanks in advance!

    Run memtest on your mac
    http://osxdaily.com/2011/05/03/memtest-mac-ram-test/
at the very least this will help you rule out if it is bad RAM or something else.

if you do end up getting bad ram, and if you can...go back to the guy who installed the additional ram for you and try to get new sticks for free.

manufacturers usually are able to provide RMA replacements for bad ram that fail memtest, esp if you know they are new/fresh sticks.

    milkmandan has good advice.

I'd also ask though, it is only Safari that is crashing? Have you tried a different browser? Safari has been unstable for a lot of users in Mountain Lion. It crashes on me several times a day if I forget and start using it regularly, but it's only Safari that crashes, the OS is fine.

Are you getting any kernel panics? Does the Mac freeze and give you a message to restart?

I'd get the ram out and check it's suitable.

I put in 1066 ram for my work's 2011 mm and I had the same issues. I did pull the ram out and reset it and since then, no issues.

Work is buying me 16G ram so, hopefully that will work better for me.

    Good luck.

thanks milkmandan: I ran the memory test & everything is OK.
Thanks cocacolakid: it's not just Safari. I put different panic logs in the txt I attached, two of them being kernel issues.
Thanks mwhities & Kebabselector: do you confirm I should remove the memories even if I pass the memory test? I changed the memories only once in 5 years on my previous MacMini so I'd say it's far from being my best skill...

Did somebody see something wrong in the logs I copied / attached?

mwhities: I removed the memories & put them back but got 2 new crashes (kernel) in less than 30min.

    What could I do next?

I bought some crap ram for mine and had nothing but trouble! All problems stopped when I put the original ram back :(

It was the correct spec, speed, etc, but it just caused too many issues :(

I know it's a pain, but remove one stick only and run as normal. If it crashes, remove and try the other stick.

If both fail, then it is most probably not your ram sticks at fault.

You could try re installing the os. If you have decent download speed, it shouldn't take that long. If you do, back up first with time machine. You may not need it, but its good to be safe. Unless you haven't put anything on this machine you can't do without, then don't bother and reinstall away. But try the memory thing first, that'll be really quick and you eliminate it as an issue.

OLDCODGER: it seems you had a Eureka moment! I followed your suggestion and used only one stick at a time. 1st tentative got me 6 kernel crashes in 2 minutes. The 2nd tentative got me so far NOT A SINGLE CRASH in the last 24 hours. So I will keep this set up for a few weeks, just to make sure the 1st stick of RAM was the issue.
I am glad I tried that before re-installing the OS (I had installed Mountain Lion myself, it originally came with Lion).

The seller should be able to give me in a couple of weeks the original RAM: is it OK to use a 2GB RAM stick (original) with a 4GB RAM stick?

The defective 4GB RAM stick is a Crucial one: does somebody have any experience with using the warranty?

    Thanks y'all for your support!!!!
