If you are not seeing the update in the Mac App Store, use my Software Update Patch from post #679 with the Developer Beta CatalogURL checked and Software Update patch unchecked (as it may overwrite @dosdude1's patch).
OR you can just use this terminal command:
Then restart the App Store and/or Mac a few times.
This should allow your Mac to receive all future Developer's Betas from now on. I don't know if anything else really changed as far as this.

DP2 still isn't showing on my 2009 MBP. I'm going to try TDMing to my Mac Pro and see if Apple will allow the download from there. Should allow me to patch it too, if needed.

Not showing on my 2009 MBP either. I have run the sudo command and restarted several times with no luck.

It's blocked on unsupported Macs. TDMing the same drive to my Mac Pro (2013), the update showed immediately.
I've tried it on terminal and with the software update patch tool, and both didn't work... Nothing showing up on the Mac App Store...
You guys should learn how to do direct downloads of the install packages:
FullBundleUpdate.pkg
FirmwareUpdate.pkg
OSXUpd10.12.pkg
This will let you download it via a browser instead of the mac app store.

That might be quicker, if you can get into the catalog and find the download link. In this case, I found it easier to dig out a FireWire cable and TDM to my other Mac. Seems to be working.
Curious, Has anyone tried to update Sierra on a hackintosh that was 'tricked' to show a newer model mac?
For the people who are pming me for direct links, stop it. I'm not going to give you the links. You can find them yourself if you are a developer because instructions are in the archives of the apple developer forums which you can only access if you are a developer. If you are not a developer you shouldn't be running the beta yet anyway and should just wait for the public beta which should be out soon anyway.

The patch tool keeps getting stuck on 'Rebuilding Caches' with DP2. When I attempt to reboot USB doesn't work again. Is there a command or two I can run through terminal to rebuild everything?

Tried the Terminal command from above and it doesn't work. How do I revert to the original update path?
I also took out the SSD from my MBP 5,1 and booted it from my Mac Pro 5,1 using Firewire and still no DP 2 Sierra update being displayed.

After nearly all of the metadata files downloaded, i can't find anything with model list or any other information that prevents to see update in the list. Aftar that i wrote a small php, to capture all of the HTTP headers, that sent my machine to Apple, but seems to be no machine informations are here. PHP's $_SERVER value when softwareupdate downloads the main update url: http://homokozo.czo.hu/test.txt

Or if we get the Public beta in a couple of weeks. The PB autoupdates like regular Apple updates. I know because I PB updated Yosemite on my 08 MacBook way back when.
It's seems to that not only us have problem with the update. https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/50961 Seems to be some of compatible macs can't find the update on MAS

Got some great news. What I did next was to run the patch file from your post # 679 and it worked. Was able to download the DP 2 Sierra and install it successfully. I placed the SSD back in my MBP 5,1 and run the post install tool from dosdude1. I'm now posting this post from my MBP 5,1 running DP 2 Sierra.
Your tool worked and didn't need reenter anything in the Terminal.
Great news! Did swapping your drive play a role in your success? I was a little confused if that was part of what got it working... I won't be swapping my drive because I only have one Mac to work from.
Please explain all of your steps in exacting detail if you can
