For 13.6.2 it says available for: MacBook Pro (2021 and later) and iMac (2023) I guess I'll leave that package I downloaded alone.

I'd just go ahead and delete it, there's no need to keep it around. At some point Apple will certainly ship a 13.6.3 update which will install on your Mac.
