macOS 15 Sequoia on Unsupported Macs Thread

As a technonumpty I successfully went from Monterey to Sequoia 15.7.8 using OCLP following great help and advice from the Jedi's on here a few months ago. Now, I had the update notice for Sequoia 15.7.9 and Tahoe (auto update is not enabled) from the software update panel in settings. Also a pop up that said OCLP had detected a OS update and was updating root patchers? I'm not fussed about Tahoe, but wondered can I do the 15.7.9 update, or will that cause issues?
