that's just like, your opinion, manIts so so not though
i like the new look. and i'm looking forward to more continuity between my devices!

That is one unattractive UI. I hope and pray that there is a dark mode.
Wow, look at the nice Safari tabs. They don't show anything at all, but at least there's a lot of space in the tab bar to add to that clean look.. oh well, at least there are alternatives for that one unlike for the rest. This trend to waste more and more screen area in the UI is really getting on my nerves.
No, see, the downvoters want to make sure nobody else can use the features they don't personally like. Get with the program. Then don't use those features? I use my Mac for professional use just fine with all these features. People need to calm down lol.
Exactly what I expected. Horrible flat iOS look. They’re not even trying at this point.
Running on an iPad in a Mac enclosure.Running on a Mac running A12Z bionic!
Yes, also the extra rounded corners everywhere. Ugly, and the opposite of clean and flat. It's less flat.
The only thing that's not flat are the icons. The rest is even more flat than before. It's literally not flat, they embossed the icons now like the glory days, lol. It's less flat.
The icons in the dock look really out of place when everything else is more flat than ever. And the worst thing is that they clearly heard the criticism of their flat interface and as a result use absurd ammount of shadows and depth just to prove us something, I don't know. It looks like if you open a picture and tap 5 times on the sharpening function. It's really ugly. And that wasted white space everywhere and iOS like icons is really something to hate. When I saw a screenshot with some windows opened I didn't even recognize on the first look that there was mail app in there. They got rid of any identity and immediate recognition of the things that are presented on screen, exactly like they did with iOS 7. Also, when I look at this monstrosity I think there are touchscreen Macs on the horizon. It's interesting because on the one hand as you say things have gone flatter and more iOS-like - which is a good or bad thing depending on your taste - but then in some areas like the dock icons they've done the opposite and gone more skeuomorphic. So it's now a kind of dodgy looking hybrid of two different design languages. It may grow on me but on first glance I'm not a huge fan overall.
GPU support maybe.Curious on how a 2013 MBP and 2013 MBA can run Big Sur, but they dropped the 2013 iMac's.
I don't. Buying that old of a Mac means you don't expect many OS updates in the future.Ugh so not only has the mid 2012 MacBook Pro been dumped, but its been dumped stuck on buggy Catalina. Feel sorry for people who bought one less than 4 years ago.
Very ugly. Lots of wasted space. Huge UI regressions hiding controls behind silly menus.
Probably time to switch to Windows.
Widgets? Seriously? Message effects? Who cares. Maps? Whatever. Just work with Adobe so all their stuff works on launch.
To be more exact, the day the Mac died (because when they renamed OS X to MacOS, it was already halfway into the Mac death, as they had already started to transform the Mac into iOS... so today is the day the Mac -as a computer- died). The day macOS died
