Is it possible that they will delay the release. Given that there is no GM and a ton of bugs have yet to be fixed? Or will they possibly fix the issues and skip GM to rush it out Monday?

Who really knows...

The lack of a GM is a clear indication it will be delayed.

There's no huge rush for macOS as major new versions aren't part of a new hardware push story.

I don't think privately fixing a heap of bugs and only testing internally would be very smart. It would undermine the entire beta process that has already played out.

Sadly, I think it may release as is, with a fix coming soon.
Who knows, maybe they made enough progress this week, or it's just that the teams working on these bugs have been working on the fixes for a while and just not pushed their code to the Master yet.

I have beta 11 inatalled. Presuming there is no GM and the official release drops Monday. How do I update to it?

I know I click ‘stop receiving beta software’ but then on Monday would I use software update or the Mac App Store for the official release?

was going to ask the same question

Built a bootable USB stick last night with 18A389 on it in preparation for a totally clean install.
May update over the weekend or wait till Monday to confirm this is definitely the GM.

Bizarre. Most stable beta release I've experienced for a long long time - right since beta 1

I agree. No idea where people get the idea that it's not ready for release. The Mojave Beta cycle has been the most stable in recent memory...no issues whatsoever on my side (except that other post on android emulators, but this is not Apple's fault)! ;)

Not sure why so many refuse to accept THE FACT that the last Mojave release was GM.
NEXT stop, official release on Monday- the real deal ;)

None of us know. I don't recall there not being a GM or at least RC before the final release. But of course it can still happen. I do remember past releases where the final release build was different from the GM that had been released a week earlier so that can happen and could definitely be the case here since the currently available build is still labeled as a beta in the dev center.

There must be a reason Apple hasn't announced a GM build yet, which is an important step and is usually what 3rd parties wait on before announcing their products support the new version (e.g., "Our product is now Mojave ready"). I suspect Apple found something last minute that stopped them doing so, and if I had to bet I'd say the build on Monday will be different from Beta 11. However, nobody can be certain. I'm not certain... like 60/40 on the build being different, but I won't be surprised either way.

So will the GM seed be released today? I guess we’ll find out in about 40 mins.

Because it's labeled a beta by Apple, and it still includes the Feedback Assistant.

Yep, Apple calls beta 11 a beta. I have the release notes. It’s not the GM.

i also will be doing a fresh install of Mojave, not really worried about backing anything up since i only use this Computer to lisrten to music an Design crap on adobe lol

Feedback Assistant is present in macOS as default now, whether it is beta or not.

Yes, but it's only on the betas they place a link to it in the Dock and that it appears in Applications/Utilities. In public final releases there is no link to it in the Dock or in the Utilities folder and so unless you know where to find it you'd never see it outside of a beta.

^^^^So much false information and assumptions floating around concerning "Application Assistant"? I have not run an OS beta since I installed my GTX 1080 in April of last year. "Application Assistant" os still present in my dock in HS 10.13.6, and still works.

No Feedback Assistant whatsoever after I installed 18A389 over an existing install of High Sierra. Not in Application Folder nor in Utilities.

EDIT: Found it under system/library/CoreServices/Appplications...

It’s just hidden. It’s a default app in every macOS since Yosemite. It was even in the Dock in 10.10. Use Spotlight to launch it. You know Spotlight...we had that since 14 years ago :p
