Can confirm that my MBP 14" 2021 M1 Pro which had its logic board replaced would crash, go into a reboot loop, and got bricked after upgrading to macOS 12.3.

Brought it to Apple because I thought their repair was faulty, but they fixed it by downgrading the OS.

I haven't tried upgrading to 12.3.1 yet, even though there are successful reports. I might wait until 12.3.2 to be safe.

As for the reason why so many logic boards are being replaced. Any damage to the computer (e.g. liquid spill) will affect the logic board because everything is so tightly integrated onto the board such that you can't replace individual parts. The Touch ID board, battery, fans, vent module, display, lid sensor, and case are examples of separate parts. But if any part of the logic board is damaged, gotta replace the whole thing and probably some of the other parts near it too.

Edit: Decided to upgrade to 12.3.1 since I have a backup MBP. It worked - no issues so far!

OK, the Mac mini (with replaced logic board) successfully updated to 12.3.1 without any problem. M1Pro MacBook Pro (with original logic board) also updated successfully using that update.

Another version has appeared 12.4 Does anyone install?
I hope such adventures like with 12.3 will never happen again, but I'd rather ask before update :)

I updated my secondary MBP (2018) earlier without fail but haven't updated my primary (2021) MBP yet.
Feel confident after 12.3 knackered both machines.

Thanks, I couldn't wait any longer. Updated, went without surprises. Works well.
