Since revised DB3, system settings window opened always half sized in the lower left display corner.

Seems it remembered the new position and size I set after the fourths or fifths time opening it now.

Safari TP still unusable.

I installed the latest B3 and didn't notice anything different.

Don't know if it is already posted here, but there is a link to upvote for MS to fix teams screenshare:

This is pretty much the only thing holding me back from installing the beta. Doesn’t seem to be a Microsoft issue though as it seems like it happens with Zoom and others as well.

I'm not on the beta (yet, might install the public beta(s) soon-ish) but I've read there is a workaround for Zoom/Teams broken screen sharing. Just copy/pasting from Reddit, haven't tried myself.

Go to Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Screen & System Audio Recording.

When teams first starts (assuming the permission is already on and broken) disable it, and restart teams when prompted.

When it reloads toggle it on, and click later rather than restart Teams.

No need to join and leave meetings. Works until Teams is quit.

After every OS update, just remember to manually reboot the Mac to get the new update settled in. Anyway, all those 3rd party apps not yet updated to Sequoia might not work well. Strange, all those open-source apps (made for Linux) work quite well with Sequoia beta, just as they did with Sonoma.

I am running a MacBook Pro 14" M3 8GB machine with the latest version of Sequoia 15.0 Beta (24A5289h) and have found that although it will connect to my Apple Watch v8 11.0 (22R5309f) it will now not log me in from the screensaver.
Are there any ideas as to what I need to do to get it to work again - was working perfectly in Beta 1 & 2.
Thanks

I seem to have been able to 'cure' the problem. Turned the Watch login off , then rebooted and then turned back on again - seems now sorted.

They have added a notifications' settings shortcut.

Also the notifications centre generally feels much better in Beta 3 – like the shadow and the positioning of the notifications, etc, seems to have been fixed.

Since the first Beta, when I open the Contacts app, no iCloud contacts are displayed. I can see the contacts on my iPhone and iPad (iOS18 beta) but not on the Mac. If I try to add a contact using the Contacts app on the Mac, then the app will crash.

I reverted back to macOS Sonoma and the Contacts app worked perfectly. Once I installed the Sequoa Beta back, then the behavior mentioned above repeated.

Anyone else?
working for me without any issue on my Mac Air M3.

I had a system software update notification yesterday, and I am already on B3. I checked the version number, and it was current.
Did the update as requested, and it's the same number.
Odd.

Lost my qnap thunderbolt connection when updated to public beta, still no solution...

This keeps on happening with Teams as well in the latest Beta 3 as well as prior versions:

I hit cancel on this. I've already re-installed this a few times after that error.

I believe that workaround doesn't work anymore according to the Reddit post I saw.

anyone else seeing this behavior? On my macbook pro with an external monitor the dock no longer moves to the monitor and always stays on the macbook. It is a pain to open apps that way

Has anyone realized that the "Hidden" album is missing in Photos? It's disappointing considering the fact that macOS Photos has received the least design changes compared to other updates.

What do you mean, missing? Are you sure it is not actually... hidden? xD

It's like with Sonoma, or maybe even before that. You need to go to View > Show Hidden Photo Album (if it is already active it will show "Hide Hidden Photo Album").
And then the hidden photo album will show under "Utilities" in the Collections of the left side menu.

It's available. Right click on a photo to hide it, and you'll get a pop up telling you how to view the hidden album.

Hint: Menu / View / Show Hidden Photo Album (after which it appears in the Utilities section).

Clip Studio Paint 3.0 is running into issues on B3. Severe input lag via the tablet as well as mouse. Also stalling out on exporting files from .clip/.psd to any other file type. Everything was good with B2.

Photoshop and Krita both seem to be working fine still.

OS-wise, B3 created a cute icon bug, the wifi symbol in the top bar is doing the searching animation, even though I have a solid connection to the network and internet.

I'm having trouble with the new WindowsTiling feature. The options that control the feature in SystemSettings are greyed out for me. I suspect it's because I use an app called Magnet for window management but, even with that app disabled and restarting my M2 MBA, the settings all remain greyed out.

Upgraded to public beta on m2 MBA. Everything running smooth except I don't get iMessages while on VPN for some reason

The reason is written in the screenshot you posted…
