iPhone Mirroring is not regulated at all. That's why Samsung has it. EU Regulations is just a made-up excuse by Apple because they don't have the feature ready for all markets

This is a local feature (so it don't rely on distant server) who's working the same way for everyone.

How could it be not ready for all markets?

This explanation doesn't make any sense. It's actually more work for apple to add an European limitation than not doing it at all.

And don't talk to me about localisation. this cannot be the reason for a year delay

is the mirrored screen bigger for Max phones or is it always the same size? can you make it bigger?

It’s a legitimate security feature, not a “catch”.
It's a nightmare and Apple is constantly suggesting users to switch.

Asking few times a year to update the password, constant reminders in System prefs, notifications and EVERY-TIME you log in Apple Support Forum and forcing it in all new features.

If you are traveling and you lost your phone, or you need to reinstall software without connection, (both happened to me) get ready to start a nightmare with your friends phone in order to access your data

This works great! It does consume your screen space but if you have a large screen (e.g. 16") it very manageable. Don't know about iPadOS.

Has anyone used it yet to answer their calls? Seems to work well on Messages.

It works well in this beta, but it surprisingly doesn't work if the iPhone is used as continuity camera. This surprised me as I think iPhone mirroring is especially useful to the people who use their iPhone several hours a day for Zoom meetings. Maybe it's not possible to process both the camera feed and the iPhone mirroring, but I hope it will be fixed in a future beta.

Just tried this feature, and it seems neat, but frustrating to use. The mouse buttons are reversed. My mac's mouse is set to left hand, so the primary click is the right mouse button and alt-click is the left button, but when I try to use the phone mirroring app it's backwards. There doesn't seem to be any way to set it to the left hand mouse use, but in reality it should just use the MacOS settings instead. Kind of frustrating to have to go back and forth between left and right handed from window to window.
