Is it me or I can’t get MacID to work? IT get stuck on “Choose your iOS device”, but doesn’t see my iPhone. The iMac sees the iPhone, though.

I tried the public Beta briefly but Affinity Photo would not display a RAW image (CR2). Jpeg etc. OK. Yet it appears soon the list of workers?

Reverted to El Cap as I am using Affinity a lot but anyone else? I did not log any versions or anything but 2013 iMac with Affinity 1.4.2

Edit. Scrub that. Re installed and now it works.

Care to expound on why? I've been using CMM for years and love it. Having easy menu bar access to my system status is nice as well. I realize that SOME of the space management features in Sierra make CMM a bit redundant, but it still doesn't quite do everything that CMM can, and the interface is def not as clean.
Well it is generally accepted that CMM is one of the major causes of problems in macs, see Apple Support Forums

I disagree. Yes stuff like MacBooster and such spyware/virusware/crapware yes. CMM is better, it has never ever caused me any problems. It does nothing special necessarily though, but it doesn't cause problems either.

Exactly. Equating CMM with something like MacKeeper just doesn't hold up. Yes, there are free programs that individually do everything CMM does, but I gladly pay for the convenience and the aesthetic.

Great if it works for you, carry on.
Just making the point that if you read Apple Support Forums you will notice a lot of contributors make the point that CMM and other Mac 'cleaners' are at best not needed (the Mac looks after itself) and at worst do more harm than good.

TunnelBlik not working for me. Crashes. Alternative solution Viscosity works well with OpenVPN and it's also free.

Anybody tried Zotero?

I tried Zotero standalone. The only issue I noticed is that when I open a paper from my Zotero library in Preview and try to edit it (e.g. highlight some text) I get a message that “The original document can’t be changed, so a duplicate with your changes has been created.”. Maybe something about permissions that changed for some library folder? I posted in the Zotero forum https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/61014/macos-sierra-papers-protected

Good news here. Two of the products I had issues with in PB1 are now working in PB2. I've updated the document on page 1.

F5 Big-IP Edge Client (VPN) - App opens but will not connect *** Fixed in Beta 2
VM Ware Fusion 8 (Turn off 3D acceleration if you get an "Internal Error" . ** works in Public Beta 2)

Also, of note. The auto-unlock feature with the Apple Watch is working faster now. This is my favorite feature of Seirra.

I know it's nearing 'ancient' status so there may not be many people running it, especially on a beta but would anyone be able to check if Final cut pro 7 works?

I recall it had some issues with the earlier betas of 10.11 but it works on the release version. I'm curious to know if it lives on or I have to pony up for a new editing program :/

I've seen the same with a Logitech M705 mouse. I'm just hoping they'll roll out an update soon and solve it. I can live with out some of the buttons for a while.

I was able to solve my problems with my M705 mouse by

1. Reinstalling the Logitech Unifying Software v1.2.315 :

2. Uninstalling the Logitech Control Center

Any feedback on Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC?
Photoshop CC is working fine otherwise. But with 1 crash happening specifically when you go for "Save for Web" option. Just when you click save on the "Save for web" dialog box. Photoshop vanishes/ crashes. Normal save/ save as.. is working fine. This problem is happening with the latest Photoshop CC 2015.5 version on Mac Sierra Beta 2.

QuickTime Player 7 does not open Export window (only way to convert 4GB+ .CAF to AIFF). Crashed in b1, so an improvement I guess?

Save for Web in Photoshop CC (not 2015) crashes on save in b2. Worked in beta1, but had extreme lag in the save dialog box (2fps).

Hey, even I face the same save for Web problem in beta 2. Just after I updated photoshop to 2015.5 version. Did you find any fix? I wrote 2 crash reports to Adobe but none answered.

dreamweaver CS6 is working here (including 'save as'); with legacy java installed. also, carbon copy cloner latest is working as well. the bartender beta works, and mail satellite works.

logix X 10.2.4 is good (sylenth1 doesn't validate, & the developer is on it).

so far, am pretty happy with 10.12...
