I am unable to add folders or albums to utilize as wallpapers, not complaining, beta, but I'm stuck with only the set of official wallpapers. Is this a common issue for all users?

Never mind... my collections and some stuff appeared when I returned from lunch, still missing the "add album" and or "add folder".

Too much information on the background…

Thank you, I changed the images. But there was nothing special. Only the screenshots I posted here and my backup drives and maybe three folders that don't have secret titles. I wouldn't have posted it otherwise. Is it even possible to make the blurred text readable?

No, it’s not even available. I switched the Media & Purchases account to the US, and it appeared, but it’s not working.

Have you switched it on both devices? It worked for me on macOS 15.x and iOS 18.x. But it's annoying on the iPhone having a different App Store/Music/Books etc. account. I am not in the mood to test it again.

Sorry, I haven't seen your other post. Maybe I'll try it later or tomorrow.

I know, that why I said I can see it.
Your computer is configured to get updates from that so-called "channel", so that's why it shows up there. But, as you're aware, there are no updates in that channel that are compatible with your computer, therefore it says you're up to date.

CPU usage is still between 18 and 25% percent while doing nothing. Before on 15.5 it was always around 8%.

The temperature of the Efficiency Cores is now always 65 instead of 45 degrees Celsius. Perfomance Cores are 40 like on 15.5.

But it was much worse with that Creative audio driver using 50% CPU.

Does it always show device incompatible channels on macOS? It's not on iOS. My 8 Plus and 2nd Gen. iPad Pro are only showing iOS 17 Developer and Public Beta. At least until a few weeks ago. Didn't look if they show 26 now.

What are Quick Keys? And where do I have to look for those?

Quick Keys lets you use keyboard shortcuts for actions in the new Spotlight. For example, if you type SM you can send a message to someone. It might not be implemented yet.

M4 Mac Mini, 512GB, here.
Selected a 'play' system on an external drive, and turned on Tahoe Beta. Downloaded 6GB of update, installed and rebooted, no problems.

Found the new interface interesting, and it took reading this thread to remind me that it is a 'Semi-Aqua' interface from 2000.
Problems I have found so far --
  1. The afore-mentioned inelegancy at the bottom of Finder windows.
  2. Ulysses still has a problem with documents stored in its iCloud area, but I think that is a problem with MacOS, rather than Ulysses, as these files disappear when Ulysses is closed. This happens even when Optimise Mac Storage is turned off.
  3. The first time I opened a suspended VMware Virtual Machine stored on another drive, it was only reading the file at 12 Mbytes/sec. However, after suspending and restoring a local VM, it was then able to restore and suspend the one on the other drive at full speed. Dunno...

When playing a video in Telegram the whole screen is getting a black overlay except this item in the Menu Bar, no matter if Dark or Light Mode is enabled:

Even if I move it to another place in the bar it won't change to another item. It's also just a part of the System Monitor app that is showing different things. It's a similar to iStat Menus.

I definitely didn't see this before in 15.5.

On my M4 Pro Mini it was much larger but it was showing only about half the size before downloading started and it didn't really take 9 hours but the download was very slow. Maybe 2 hours just for the download.

I must have selected a good time to do the download. It came down at full speed for me (about 25MB/s), and so only took about 5 ~ 6 minutes. Then another 20 minutes or so for the actual upgrade.

Anyone using this with an Apple Vision Pro on the latest beta? (VisionOS26) - I've made a separate volume and am having problems connecting to virtual Mac display using standard method from Apple Vision Pro control panel. On my 15.5 sequoia volume I don't have issues connecting to virtual Mac display - MacBook Pro M1 Max 64GB, 8TB SSD

No, only on my mac. And in the end, it actually works

Tahoe is growing on me. Still feel stuttery at times. But also got a cheap MacBook Air 8gb that I put this on… may just be the 60hz panel that I’m not used to…
