Nice. Readability is much improved in places. The active tab has also become way easier to identify on dark backgrounds.
I couldn’t use Safari since beta 1 so I don’t know, which irritating scrolling bug it’s about?much more fluid
the irritating Safari scrolling bug is gone for now
sidebar on safari still broken in full screen view
Damn. I was going to ask that same thing.Official confirmation that compact mode has not yet returned in Safari
It is. Honestly the new disk icon is a bit too… simple? generic? I’m not sure that’s the word, because yours are generic and simple but they look good. It’s like… it was designed by someone who didn’t care at all?I can't remove the default icon I have for the drives, but from what I see, I don't think the new icon is worth it either. It's horrendous. The one I use nowadays is incredibly more beautiful in my opinion.
The MS Word Save issue remains👎
Lou
I'm glad it does👍 However, I have an LTSC License and have no way to get Betas🥲Word version 16.101 fixes it.
i had a bug where scrolling in safari was behaving similar to when you have a hair on your touchpad: was not fluid, was stoping all of a sudden or by itself going to the bottom , it was happening only in safari so it was nothing mechanical, Chrom was fluid as always. With b5 scrolling in safari is again correctI couldn’t use Safari since beta 1 so I don’t know, which irritating scrolling bug it’s about?
it is a never ending circle:It is. Honestly the new disk icon is a bit too… simple? generic? I’m not sure that’s the word, because yours are generic and simple but they look good. It’s like… it was designed by someone who didn’t care at all?
This happens to me at random. I just Command drag it off the menubar. No matter how many times I disable it, the keyboard input icon keeps reappearing in the menu bar. I only have one keyboard layout enabled (U.S. English), so this icon serves no purpose. I assume this is a bug and not a setting that I'm overlooking. Anyone else seeing this icon in their menu bar? It also happened in Beta 4 and I was hoping it would be fixed by now.
I installed Beta 5 yesterday and noticed alarms still did not trigger properly when the display sleeps. The workaround to keep the display on with brightness off is helpful but not ideal. Anyone else found any better fixes?View attachment 2534617

There are issues with the menu bar whereby it doesn't seem to be permanently saving some changes, so each reboot resets some stuff. Believe it or not, after deleting those 2 rosetta folders (as in previous betas), update is showing.
After that, you can restore them from trash.
