some changes improve some people's workflow.

also (imho), an OS should not be static, but can change to reflect tech advances, new ways of working, possibility...

This is a weird reply that doesn't pertain to what I posted or the topic at hand. What is your point?

Why are you making this point in response to my past positive and negative experiences with Apple support?
i don't understand. you posted something, i responded. pretty sure that's how a conversation on a forum works... 🤔

that quote 'every change breaks someones workflow' is the antithesis of progress (at least, i'd say so).

Yes, and I don't understand your response. I posted about my experiences with Apple support and how they have changed in recent years. You responded that workflows change with every change. I don't understand how your reply is relevant to my post, can you explain?

I don't play many games on my Mac, but I did test 3DMark on my MacBook Air M4. With 26.3 beta 2, it just crashed. With beta 3, it works again. So it seems there have been improvements.

His Intel MacBook Pro doesn't have a 6900XT from AMD...They're most likely updating the drivers, there's major graphical slowdowns with Intel Mac Pros with AMD GPUs.
I'm seeing the glitch in an Intel only app on an ARM MacBook Pro M1 Max

It's not useless at all. I've had Apple respond to me for issues many times in the past and actually saw changes in following releases. If they never respond to your feedback that means they either cant replicate (if they cant, they will ask to show how to get that issue via screenshots/video) it or its a common feedback and they will fix it.

That's the whole point of the Beta's, for people to submit feedback. I've even had Tim Cook's and Steve Job's offices reply to me via email for major issues.

Complaining only here on a forum will get you nowhere.
While most of us should know that Apple doesn't read the posts here for "work" related issues, I can honestly say that I haven't received a single response or reply to any feedback I've filed since sometime in 2019. I file bugs regularly and some are even so well known as being able to replicate.. I know complaining here will get you nowhere, but TBH, I've received better help from folks in this forum than I ever have from any official Apple resource.
